I'll go first, I have two eGo-T's , a 1000mah, and a 600mah, and I also have one eGo-C 1000mah that I just bought recently. I've had the T's for years and they even sat around for over a year between my attempts to quit and are still going strong. I get easily a full day out of the 600 and almost two days on the 1000s. I like the 600 because I can stick it in my 5th pocket of my jeans and I hardly notice it, even with a 5ml bottle of juice next to it.

I wanted a new battery, so I started researching what was on the market. Well I was totally blown away at all the eGo style batteries available now. So many to choose from.

That said, I settled on the eGo-C non-upgrade version. I tried a twist version, but did not like the fact the voltage control seemed too easily changed by accident and the setting was hard or impossible to read if it wasn't bright enough. Accidentally smoking a coil and inhaling burnt liquid is not fun. I can always adjust my power level by changing the resistance of the coil if I need to, but so far 1.8 is working beautifully with the regulated voltage. Simplicity is what I decided is most important. No need to go chasing after all those expensive VV VW specialty batteries, I just want to push the button and enjoy...

My favorite feature of the eGo-C is the color changing light that lets me know when my battery is getting low so I don't get caught out and about without a spare or swapping for a fresh one before I leave. I don't understand why this isn't standard on all the new eGo brand batteries, but it appears to be only the C version that has it (excluding the C-Twist which doesn't... again, I don't understand why not)

Why not the upgrade version? Well, first of all, I don't understand the advantage of letting your voltage vary that much as you use it. Regulated voltage means consistent power delivery, why would you want to disable that? Being that that is pretty much the only "upgrade", it didn't seem like something I would want and I think it cost a few bucks more.

So, since those are the only three I'm familiar with, and they are all true eGo brand batteries, I'd like to hear what batteries others have settled on and why they liked it more than others they've used. Being the most expensive component, they can be an investment and why waste money if there's something better out there? Too many to choose from? That's what forums are great for, sharing info and opinions!

I use a variety of ego and ego-likes for different situations and flavors. I have found the VV to be useful with some flavors (like Nicotickets Creme Brulee) but I always insure that it is all the way down and adjust by feel to where the sweet spot is. I usually have 5 different ego's and clearo's with me along with my VTR and a few extra cleros with different flavors.

That looks nice, but the button wouldn't allow me to use my eGo lanyard ring on it. Maybe this would be a good one for leaving at home for when I'm just sitting around and want to play with different voltages/juices. Like the twist, it seems like if you were carrying it around with you, the buttons would get pushed on accident and change your voltage without you noticing. Not to mention its more buttons and stuff to get broken or malfunction. I'd point out that it's made in China, but I'm pretty sure they all are...

I love my eGo's and the convenience they bring. They are my carry around when I go out because they fit my lanyard which I've decked out. I love the eGo CE pass-through and do like the unregulated option for certain juices I use. I keep my vv/vw's at home so I need that extra when I'm out and about. I also like my Vision Spinners 1300mAh for their longevity and the fact that they are easy to read. I've not had an issue with them turning up or down on me, yet. Happy Vaping :vapor:

Since the OP asked what type eGo is preferred by a given individual...then I think I'd say my favorite(s) are the eGo T regulated passthrough ones...Joyetech. I like the size, and since I'm at my laptop so much of the time (or in bed, where I can plug the cord into the USB of my Dash alarm clock) it's just a good fit for me. However, having said that...I do like my 1000 mAh Joye eGo T upgrade battery although I don't use the unregulated setting. I also have found the Smok etched 900 mAh eGos to be amazingly tough and long lasting. I have a couple of VV eGo class devices...one is eGo Twist and the other SLB VV. I hardly use them at all, however. For some reason I don't get very good battery life from either of them (900 mAh and 650mAh) even though I set the voltage to 3.2 or 3.3 most of the time. I've gotten some "generic" egos at eBay, and I have a couple of BetterLife ones (which I love)...they all work good. I also have a couple of kGos that I like

Bottom line...for size I prefer 650 mAh or 900 mAh. I strongly favor passthroughs. I don't really insist on a certain brand, but have found Joye and Smok to be very reliable. I like regulated 3.3 for the most part. I DIY my own juice, and it's the same flavor always. Menthol. Pretty strong menthol at that. I have tried all sorts of PVs and APVs...VV/VW, bottom feeders, all manner of box mods with all sorts of features. Tried all sorts of delivery "heads"...clearos, dripping atomizers, RBAs, cartos and various tanks. Spent a pretty penny on a lot of fancy stuff for about a year...then came back to eGos about a month ago, and am happier now than I've been in awhile. No fuss. No muss. I use carto tanks...2ohm cartos. It just works for me. But I'm probably pretty unusual for most vapers that post here at ECF.
