I'll go first, I have two eGo-T's , a 1000mah, and a 600mah, and I also have one eGo-C 1000mah that I just bought recently. I've had the T's for years and they even sat around for over a year between my attempts to quit and are still going strong. I get easily a full day out of the 600 and almost two days on the 1000s. I like the 600 because I can stick it in my 5th pocket of my jeans and I hardly notice it, even with a 5ml bottle of juice next to it.
I wanted a new battery, so I started researching what was on the market. Well I was totally blown away at all the eGo style batteries available now. So many to choose from.
That said, I settled on the eGo-C non-upgrade version. I tried a twist version, but did not like the fact the voltage control seemed too easily changed by accident and the setting was hard or impossible to read if it wasn't bright enough. Accidentally smoking a coil and inhaling burnt liquid is not fun. I can always adjust my power level by changing the resistance of the coil if I need to, but so far 1.8 is working beautifully with the regulated voltage. Simplicity is what I decided is most important. No need to go chasing after all those expensive VV VW specialty batteries, I just want to push the button and enjoy...
My favorite feature of the eGo-C is the color changing light that lets me know when my battery is getting low so I don't get caught out and about without a spare or swapping for a fresh one before I leave. I don't understand why this isn't standard on all the new eGo brand batteries, but it appears to be only the C version that has it (excluding the C-Twist which doesn't... again, I don't understand why not)
Why not the upgrade version? Well, first of all, I don't understand the advantage of letting your voltage vary that much as you use it. Regulated voltage means consistent power delivery, why would you want to disable that? Being that that is pretty much the only "upgrade", it didn't seem like something I would want and I think it cost a few bucks more.
So, since those are the only three I'm familiar with, and they are all true eGo brand batteries, I'd like to hear what batteries others have settled on and why they liked it more than others they've used. Being the most expensive component, they can be an investment and why waste money if there's something better out there? Too many to choose from? That's what forums are great for, sharing info and opinions!
