I haven't had any problem with Strawberry losing its flavor or turning to something else...yet. In fact, I found a 50mL bottle with about 15mL left in it, of a Strawberry Cream I'd made 4-5 months ago. I thought it might be "not so good" any more. But, it surprised me and was wonderful! In fact, it was even better than what I'd vaped of it about 2-3 months ago.

The flavor was even stronger than it was before, too. It was so good...that I even added some more PG/VG to it, to stretch it so I'd have more of it to vape until I decided to make more! Here's the flavorings I used to make it, but the % for each one...you'll want to work out for your own tastes. I vape HTF in my own eliquids, but many on here do not.

Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
Strawberry Ripe (TFA)
Vanilla Custard (TFA)
DX Bavarian Cream (TFA)
Sweetener (TFA)

What total % do you use of flavoring?

It varies by each eliquid and what type of tank or RBA I'm planning on vaping it on. Some recipes I make at just 12% total. Others, like some of Bill's Magic Vapor's recipes that I make...are as high as 24-26%.
However, since I'm now using RBAs, too, and fewer tanks that take factory coils, I'm finding I can cut the higher ones with plain PG, VG, and more nic...if I still have some of the eliquid left after about 2 months. The flavor is still very easy to taste and I end up with more of the eliquid!

I thought about just lowering the flavoring % from the get-go, instead of adding PG, VG, and more nic later. But, I think the flavors really blend better at the higher % and then retain that blended taste better...when I add the extra PG, VG, and nic later.

Lemon is the fastest fading flavor i have used.Every juice i have made with lemon,it is non existent in less than a week after the juice is made,so if i use it now,it's only in small batches that i can go through in a few days.

I second that emulsion.

I mixed up a unicorn milk recipe with strawberry ripe and it was my adv for awhile so I made a bunch of it. The strawberry ripe disappeared turning it into butter basically. I'm afraid to even try what I have sitting in the cupboard now.

I'm obviously revising old threads but found your comment about the uni milk interesting. I noticed the same disappearing strawberry!
