Hello there I have been vaping for a few months now and have a T.W Tornado and it works good but I only get the hit I want with a brand new atomizer maybe for a few days.

I would like to get a High voltage Pv something 5-6v I guess nothing crazy just something with enough power to keep the atomizer producing vapor after a week.

I have not looked at the H.V PVs since I bought my Tornado so I figured I would ask you guys what is out there now and what you recommend.

I don't really want anything that is the size of a base ball bat either though lol.

I was looking at the prodigy V2 but It wont let me select an option so i guess there out of stock?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

I am also an tornado/ego user and was thinking about a 5-6v mod. But, I tried out the new low resist. attomizer on my ego and WOW. It simulates highvolt vaping. TW just came out with their version at 510 TORNADO 1.5 ohm Low Resistance Atomizers
Their sold out now but keep checking.Try one of these before you shell out the cost of a highvolt mod-its cheaper.

How do you know if it really simulates HV vaping? Have you used a 5/6 volt PV?

Ohm's law is a law for a reason ;)

When it comes to how well an atomizer does it's thing, the real unit of measurement is watts. You can vary the watt rating of any PV by changing the battery voltage or the atomizer resistance. As you can see in this handy chart, a 3.7V battery with a 1.5ohm atty will give you about the same heat output (~9W) as a 5V battery with a 2.8ohm atty. Not quite as much as a Joye 510 on 5V (10.5-11W), but comparable to many of the knockoff 510s at 5V. So yes, it is accurate to claim that it simulates 5V vaping.

I'm around the computer, in the car, or near a wall socket 90% of the day. Instead of
spending big bucks on a new PV. I bought a power pass thru for 15.95. I bought the 510 model with the adapter. It is advertised in many place as a 5v unit. I've heard that it is slightly less. Don't care as it works great. I either plug into a wall usb adapter, my computer or 2v car adapter. I use a Mega 510 batt during the rare times I'm not near
any power. Works for me and what a diff. from 3.7. I bought another one for a back up
and paid 40.00 for both del.

Get the Silver Bullet and be done with it. I had the Tornado, guess what? I sold it because it did not cut it for me. I have a prodigy v2 and overall it is a good unit, but i also own a Silver Bullet and vape it at 6v. In my opinion the Silver Bullet beats the Prodigy v2 hands down. Get the SB. Then just for bragging rights get the double barrel top fo the SB as well.

Id suggest LR attys first.

I have used 3.7,5 and 6v for almost a year and can tell you it is very close to 5v vaping which I prefer at times. I like 3.7 also but yes, it is safe to say it will emulate 5v pretty much.

it would be cheaper to try an atty than to spend 100+ bucks till you know if its what you like,

I’ve been looking into this too…
Since I’m getting a Joye Stick V3 (being a 3.7, supposedly) I’m looking into something bigger.
My feeling says 6V and beyond is “too much” but I can be mistaken (as usual). 5V “seems” right.
So, can somebody share some light about the difference and reasons for picking your specific device?
Why 5V? Why 6V? Why more?
How is that compared to the stick V3?
If is any help, I prefer Tobacco and coffee flavors, lately I’m using 80PG/20VG but since I felt this is drying my mouth, I ordered 90PG/10VG.

When to use LR attys? Can they be used on 5 or 6V devices? What about atty’s life?
And… I have to top a lot when using non-nic juice, if using LR attys or higher voltage, do I use more juice?

I recently ordered an Indulgence with 6 em5 high voltage 510 atty's , extended cup for the 6V config. and the usb PT. It was nice cause they had everything I wanted in stock at the time I ordered. The shipping take more time though since its coming from overseas though. It prolly take 10 days minimum to arrive. It's the 5th day , I'm thinking 5 days of torturous anticipation left. The only color left was gold. I would rather another color but as long as it putting out mad vapor ....

I just want to indulge

A regular 510 atomizers will not last long at 6.0 volts. The low resistent atmoizers will not last as long as a regular 510 atomizers on 3.7 volts. I have killed regular 510 atomizers a 6.0 volts and these cost 7.00 each. Think about killing a LR atomizers at 12.00 each. The lower the resistent and the higher the voltage the shorter the life of an atomizers.

I enjoyed the hit and vapor of a regular 510 atomizers at 6.0 volts but the atomizer just would not last. You really need a XHV at 6.0.

IMO the Super 6 is one of the smallest mod and you can vape 3.7 or 6.0 volts with just a change in batteries.

Could you attach a low resistance atomizer to a high voltage device like a chuck for example to get something like an 8v expierence?
You could, but it would either burn out the atty in a matter of seconds, or give you the harshest, most burnt-tasting vape you've ever experienced. When it comes to getting good vapor, more is not necessarily better. There is a sweet spot somewhere between 6-12W (depending on your personal preferences) that you should be looking for. Anything too much higher or lower than that will be either disappointing or seriously unpleasant. I put together a wattage chart to help people pick the right atty/battery combo for their own sweet spot.
