I think that really depends on the flavor, and more importantly... do they make the juice with your order, or have large pre-made juices standing by ( and how old are they? )

I personally prefer a juice that should steep for a few days, that way I know the juice was made fresh. That is why I order from Blue Mist… I know they are making the juice with my order, not some pre-made large batch. ( I am sure that is also true with several other vendors as well )

I have heard ( but do not know ) that the tobacco flavors need steeping more than some others.

It's all about how the juice tastes. To clarify, how it tastes to You.

Try your juice when it arrives. If you like it, vape it.
If you find it not quite to your tastes, let it steep and try it again.
Repeat as necessary.

Not every juice will be to your liking no matter how long it steeps. I've had juices that I thought tasted worse after they steeped.

I steep all hand-mixed / handcrafted juices. That is what I have found works best for me.

Happy Vaping,
Paula

Maybe juices from an unpopular vendor might not need steeping because they've already sat on the shelf for months.

Any popular vendor will sometimes have juices that need steeping. If you choose single-flavoring juices then they are less likely to need steeping. I have never needed to steep FreedomSmokeUSA Desert Ship or oRYental 4 tobaccos - those are the names of the flavorings. Never needed to steep their Cocoa either.

The FreedomSMokeUSA section of the forum actually has a thread of juices that are good right out of the bottle.

Great advice. I received four bottles in the mail yesterday from Vaporbomb, and the packing list recommended steeping. Two of them are great now (green apple and zebra stripe), and two are a bit disappointing (cinnamon and wild cherry). I will stick to the first two for a few days, then give the latter another try.

Personally, I'm at that point (very early, that is) where I just want to try everything. I'm sitting on seven bottles of juice and I haven't even completely stopped the analogs yet (but I'm down from 40/day to just 5!)

This made me laugh ( at myself ) I do it a different way....

I try it right out of the mailbox... and think... hmmm this isnt as good as the old bottle was... and then think... in a few days this is going to taste great... and then I keep on vaping it, because it is still a whole lot better than anything else I have.

I do the same when going wine tasting... my wife takes a sip of wine and says..I don’t like that much and pours it out... I take a sip and say yeah I don’t like that much either, and then gulp the rest of it down.

Haha Astronomer - I have so many juices I never steep anything. If it's new and I don't like it then I may never vape it again. If I like it then I really don't care if it could use some steeping and I will just vape it and eventually it gets better just from opening and using the dropper bottle. Like Madvapes Chocolate Fudge Bavarian Cream - I'll vape it even if it's perfumey. But I do think juices with multiple flavorings are more likely to not be at their best when freshly mixed. And I cannot think of a case where I got a single-flavoring juice that wasn't fine to vape when I got it. Some improve and get a bit richer over time but that could just be any alcohol or water in the recipe evaporating.

Im in a different place ( not better, just different ), I have several bottles of things I tried and don’t like as much as what I vape, and then lots and lots of 3ml bottles of sample juice ( which I have tired some of )

But none of them are as deeply satisfying to me as the Robacco Menthol... so... I just keep vaping that.

Funniest thing I did was try a sample bottle of Cherry Vanilla.... OMG, I couldn’t get the taste out of the tank, It took a full tank of other juice to get the taste out of the atty!

Now I do like the coffee and cream, and I am seriously tempted to try the Root Beer Float... but to be honest... the RM has me off cigarettes, and I enjoy it every time I vape.

I just ordered a very large bottle of it ( like 180ml )

I steep only when I have plenty of juice on hand. In other words I dont steep on purpose. :)
A 100ml bottle of BB steeps only cause I cant vape that much in 1 day. Dont get me wrong...Im not saying steeping doesnt change the flavor, Im saying I dont do it cause I buy juice that taste good on delivery.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, and hope I have the willpower to let some steep..I have 2 from ms T's coming and OMG from KBV on the way..May be harder to let Ms T's steep, as I have waited so long for them, where as KBV had mine in the mail the same day as ordering..In the meantime I have maple and waffle from Mad Vapes that are so so but am vaping for want of better...

I never had to steep anything from KBV, it was good when I got it, but other stuff I usually steep including all my DIY juice. The biggest change I ever noticed from steeping was with RY4 from two different vendors, I almost vomited when I got it but after steeping for several days it turned out ok, not great, but not gagging me anymore.

Like I said... them tasting better after steeping never stopped me from vaping them anyway.... as they were still good, just not AS GOOD as after steeping.

You can let 5/6ths of the bottle steep while you vape the first 6th

Congratulations on taking your cigarettes from 45 a day to just 5 a day!! That is wonderful news.
Happy Vaping and ALL the best to you,

So far, my first experience with Gourmet Vapors is leaving me thinking that their juices need plenty of steep time. I made a big order of small bottles during their sale a few weeks ago, and all 10 of the flavors are unvapably horrible. They all taste exactly the same - like perfume. The bwb cafe mocha I ordered a week ago was awesome immediately, though.

I know what you mean by impossible not to do..I have become addicted to ordering and trying.Even though I have some on the way I have ordered again from KBV..They're Kick Bass Candy barr..Such good reviews and their customer service is awesome....
What pkj said. Give it a shot, if its not tasting good to you, put it away and try again in a week or a few days or however long you can stand waiting. If you end up like many of us before long you'll have hundreds of mls of juice sitting around because ordering new stuff is impossible NOT to do!

I laughed out loud at the wine tasting - I do the same thing. Funny!
