I put my Aspire Nautilus back on my MVP 2.0 today after having it sit in the cupboard for a while. When I first got it and filled it with some mango
e-liquid from Vice E-Cigs, I absolutely hated it. Part of it tasted very metallic and the other part tasted like perfume. I could barely stand to vape off of it because of how fragrant and artificial the
juice tasted.
I went back to it today because my Kayfun clone needs a new wick and I was too lazy to mess around with it. Everything tasted like dry makeup after I tried some gas station watermelon liquid (smelled awesome in the bottle, tastes and feels disgusting) and that nasty quality hasn't gone away despite switching
juice. I plan on changing the wick tonight (I may end up doing a new coil, too, but we'll see). Until then, I'll be using my Nautilus.
The first few hits were surprising. The nasty tastes had gone away and I was getting some fantastic vapor production. The juice is max VG so it is expected but I couldn't get these clouds before. That's probably because of how gross it was before, stopping me from taking big hits. At any rate, it's working like a champ now and I can't wait to use it more. The mouth piece is more comfortable that my KLP clone and it vapes darn well. I'm glad that I let the juice steep before swearing it away for good! The mango still isn't that great but at least now I'll be able to finish the bottle without wanting to puke. It's not something I'd order again but it gives me hope that some of my other juices will improve as they sit in my cupboard. I should probably shake them up soon since it's been a while.
Long story short: I went back to my Nautilus with some juice that was gross before. About a week of steeping has done it some good and now the perfume-like qualities have gone away and I'm loving the setup.
