Have you had an accident that impressed you with how your PV held up?

I need some personal testimonials on durability, I mean the type of dropped-on-sidewalk, stepped-on durability that is going to make the difference in the long run. I see a lot of mods using plastic boxes, exposed hoses, wood, etc. and seems like there could be issues, but I don't want to be too quick to judge as I have not tried any of them yet, but want to buy one.

(I hope it's OK to talk about mods in here, it seemed like the actual modders forum is for shop talk)

Homeish now
I dont own one...but supposedly Chucks can be run over(literally) a few times...and not miss a beat.

I have One eGo battery, that just has bad luck. Dropped, kicked, dog stole it, took a few trips into the bathtub....other then needing to spend some time drying out in rice it's still going.
(but they arnt all like that, had another nothing happened to it and it went ;ppp in three days)

Chucks are tough as hell. The only downside is the switch doesn't bode well for pocket transporting, if thats an issue.

The GG is also super tough but tough on your checkbook if you are on a budget.

The Silver Bullet seemed pretty solid, but never owned one long enough to torture it.

I also had a Prodigy V2 that was very solid as well, I beat the tar out of that thing with no troubles. Not sure if there are switch issues on the new version though.

Last week I was mowing the lawn on my 18 horse lawn tractor and my Chuck must have flipped out of my shirt pocket. When I found it it was embedded in the ground. I had run over it with the rear tires of the tractor. I pried it from the ground and wiped it off and I'm vaping on that sucker right now. If that had happened to my cheap little 905 "screwdriver" it would be in pieces I'm sure.
