hopefully last question forever/ fora while. I've an ego battery with really crappy clearomizers that go bad in like 20 hits at which point I smoke regular cigarettes. Someone suggested CE5/kanger t2/t3, or mininova (can't find much info about that 1). I'm seing there are other CE ones that might be better and am confused and in a rush to order so pardon me for not researching this all. I of course want to replace atomizers when they break, etc. My battery can't change voltage, so which ohm and model should I get? thanks.

really appreciate the links and all, but which one should I chose? maybe I'll get two. You linked t2 and t3, isn't one better?

It depends a lot on personal preference, so maybe try both. With a standard eGo battery, make sure to get the LR (low resistance) version of each. I know the T2 comes in a 1.8 ohm version (which I use), but I'm not sure about the T3 because all the sites that had them are currently out of stock.

Here's a link to my favorite vendor who has them in stock at a good price:

You've got some great advice here already vegan. Just wanted to add that in my experience almost no juice delivery system is going to work for everyone all the time. Here is a PBusardo comparison of a bunch of popular clearos. It's too bad he didn't include the Vivi Nova.

I've been using one VN for over a month and I now love it. After the first week I was so frustrated with it I had to put it away for a couple of days because I was going to throw it out. Got my first Kanger T2 a few days ago and had flooding issues with it immediately. Solved that and then had a lot of burnt hits. I think I've figured that out and have been a happy vaper for the last couple of hours, but I know I do not know nearly all it's tricks yet.

So far the most dependable clearo I've ever used is a short wick CE4 without replaceable heads. It does everything at least well, but does not excel at anything either. I also know there are people who just have no luck with any of these. That's why it's so hard to say which one is the best - kinda depends on you, how you vape, the juice you use, the way you hold it when vaping and if the moon is waning on a Saturday, all bets are off

Having said that, all mentioned in this thread have worked well for a lot of people. Best of luck with whichever one you try and happy new year :toast:

"Big supporter of the viva nova here, CANNOTTTT stand anything Kangor, wicks are way too short, burned taste constantly, urggghhhh I hate em. Had my same nova for a month now and its still not burned out on me"

try removing one or both of the 'extra' flavor wicks that don't have the coil. At least a few people say that works. Removing both might be needed for thicker %100VG juice, but might cause leakage and gargling, or maybe remove half of the second wick by unstranging it longways. Also the inner tube you inhail through might clamp down on the wicks when fully screwed in, so try unscrewing it slightly or maybe file it down a tiny bit just enough so it doesn't cause flooding/gargling.
The wicks don't need to be long on a bottom coil and are designed to avoid the burnt taste of a top coil not wicking well, but suposidly give a slightly muted flavor and less heat (I might actually prefer) compared to a top coil you have to shake and tip all the time. As if the coil being 1.5 inches further from the tip actually mutes the flavor and heat.
