hey guys, this is my first post here so hello!

i need some advice from you on something. first off i love your reviews and they are the most well written an most helpful on youtube. i have an itaste svd that i recently bought from a friend but i need a battery for it. ive watched your review on it. another friend of mine is trying to convince me to trade him my svd for his itaste mvp 2.0 which i also watched your review on. should i make the trade for mvp 2.0 or should i keep the svd and get a battery? your recommendation will make my decision. my friend wants me to trade it to him because he has a lot of batteries to use with it. should i trade it or keep it?

any replies will be highly appreciated and thanks in advance!

How old is the mvp and how much use has it had? The SVD will allow you to change the batteries, the mvp wont (at least not very easily). I have an mvp and I love it...but make sure the mvp works battery wise. It would be a bummer if you traded for it and a month later it craps out on you. Keep in mind the mvp is a disposable device. It costs about 60 bucks and will probably last about a year with hard use. Just something to consider.

1. Put the MVP 2.0 flat (charger, standing up)..does it wobble (older version), Innokin fixed it around Oct/Nov 2013
2. Press the fire button, is it hard as hell..older version,
3. Make sure it charges to 4.2 volts

If you use VW, do you even go past 11 watts?...MVP 2.0 has 11 watt limit. I like my MVP 2.0 and most of the people on the forum love it too...

Non-e-cig question...are you guys cool, most of time..I give my left e-juice, batteries, mods etc to my co-workers to help them quit cigs..I tell if they don't like it, or they break it..Tough Poo...so if something goes wrong..are both of you guys going get .... hurt etc...cause some "friends", I don't do business with ...just keeps things simple and easy for me

Even just two quality 18650 batteries: sony VTC5 and a quality charger will cost you more than a new MVP 2 - purchased mine for $42.50 delivered to my door and $46 for the SVD - so about the same value.

I would trade for MVP 2. IMHO: Built like a tank - reliable - 2600mah built in battery.

I think of an MVP 2 like an iPhone - when the battery dies - buy a new one - probably get two years of life - hard to predict.

Switches/electronics/connector might or might not last two years on the SVD.

my svd does have a button problem... sometimes you need to hit the "+" button really hard. sometimes it turns itself off for no reason... it has some issues just from use. the mvp 2.0 is in great condition, i was there when he bought it. were vaping buddies i guess. lol hes only had it for a few months but always loved my svd. he calls it the "robo ecig of death im must have" lol. i think im gonna trade it then though if everyone recommends getting the mvp 2.0. can not using a smart charger ruin a 18650 battery?

so i take it i should get the mvp 2.0 then? i didnt know it was that much better. i had the mvp v1 and it was fantastic but i love the variable wattage so i wanted to get a svd which i sold the mvp v1 to get. its too late for the trade sadly but i would probably get a mvp 2.0 instead of spending the same amount of money for batteries and a good charger for my svd. im using a ego style crap off-brand battery with a evod right now. (not saying the evod is bad, i love that little thing) thanks guys, any more opinions though?
