Hi guys! First post, but have been a lurker for the past few weeks trying to learn what I can about this new world of vaping. Currently it has been 2 weeks since my last analog and want to stay quit. I am currently using CE4 clero's and a vivi nova tank knockoff. My battery is a 1300mAh at about 4.2v at full charge. Which would be the next best buy, EVOD or Protank? I have found i can get the 5 pack kits of EVOD's for the same price of a Protank, is it worth it? Thanks guys!

I love the EVODs and the Protank, but they do have some differences:

The Protank is glass, and the EVODs are plastic. If you are using a juice that is known to react and crack plastic tanks go with the Protank.

The Protank holds more eliquid, so you will have to fill it less often. That could be an issue if you vape a lot and are not going to be able to refill an EVOD on a regular basis.

The Protank also has a looser draw than the EVOD, so keep that in mind too.

Personally I have both and use both, but I don't typically leave the house with my Protank because it's heavy for an eGo-sized battery and more bulky. (Plus I don't want to risk dropping it on concrete and having it shatter.) The EVODs are slightly more pocketable, for me anyway.

Go with the protank I've got both and I've had no flooding issues with the protank but lots with the evod. If you want something smaller go with the mini protank .

Buy some 1mm silica wick. Pop the top off the coil head and put a small piece in there. Put the top back on, trim it to match the length of the other wicks, and it should stop any gurgling you have with the EVODs.

It's really simple to do and makes them so much nicer to vape with.

NOT HERE
I found that the stock evod coil is shorter than the protank coil , i know the replacments for the protank work but if you try and put a stock evod coil in a protank it will flood ,, i rebuild all my coils and have stuck that short evod coil in my protank not thinking and its flood city ,,
I like them both ,, just get a pack of 5 coils and learn to rebuild and your set for abit ,,

Check these out.

Fasttech is a good place to get some of your stuff but they do sell knock offs so watch what you order. The above link is for the real Kanger Protank, they come in light blue, a darker brown and in the traditional clear. Also with Fasttech the shipping takes a while so expect about 2 weeks for shipping.
I have also bought the evod knock offs from there and I really like them and have had no problems with them. You might want to try them if you like the protank.
