which (other) cartos will work in tanks?

I signed up for the forum because I am currently using smoktech dual coils in my tanks. I have four tanks which use these, but as I've read on here and personally experienced, many of these cartos are producing nasty flavor and harsh vape no matter how much they are primed, broken in, etc. Out of 9 that I've tried, 5 are unusable. Are there any flanged, stainless, hole-punched, 50mmx9mm cartos that can be used as an alternative?

Good thing you bumped it. First fill with cartos is VERY important. If not filled properly filler gets burnt. What type of PV do you have?

Wouldn't be a little rough? Condom filling a flanged carto?

I believe the OP was looking for flanged cartos (other than smoktech).

My personal favorite carto for a tank in the Ikenvape Fusion. In fact it is my favorite carto-period. It is an 801 connection though and so you would need an 801-510 adapter. I punch my own cartos with a saddle valve I bought at Home Depot. Best wishes; finding the best set-up takes some trial & error. Welcome to ECF.

I have a few flanged cartos and some friends use them and we condom fill from the mouth/ opposite of batt end and it works fine. I'm just going by the notion he "may" be a new vaper. Countless times I've read the issues of foul tasting/ burnt cartos and it"usually" was the result of a failed first fill.

Thanks for all the responses. I didn't do the condom fill. I've been vaping for over a year, but tanks are a new thing for me.

I did drip the carto filler until I could see juice in the punched hole, sometimes even flooding it just to make sure. Still...it tastes like inhaling a fireplace. There are a few threads on here about smoktech producing a batch of these cartos that are all bad. Apparently, it's a pretty large batch.

I will look up the Ikenvape Fusion.
