Which pot?

I'll admit I'm lost. I found these trimmer pots a while back
and I'd really like to be able to use these in place of the
usual ones that just have a pin sticking up.
Here is the page where they are listed on didgikey.

I was looking at madvapes VV kit and it lists a 50K pot, but there is a chart
on this spec sheet http://www.vishay.com/doc?51036 for the P16 that shows
217 max voltage for 47K. What am I missing?! Is that just the max it can
handle?

Will this work? What voltage range will this give me?

Nice looking pot Should work fine, we're only working typically with 8.4 volts max and there's not a whole lot of current or voltage going through the pot anyway, it used for reference internally by the ncp630 to adjust the output.

I still don't get it. ( sorry ) Does it matter which one we use? They are listed at different levels with an "ohmic range" for each value.

Which range do I want? Am I even asking the right question?

Compared to other pots, yes. But, compared to what it would take to con-fab something makeshift and it is panel mount, not really.

you could try a thumbwheel pot... seen a few used on mods... dont recall exactly which were used...
