Aromamizer i thought the same thing about the afc

if you can get past that they are great

i just use a normal vape band and a hole punch to get the hole size and draw i need then never need to faff about with it

and as far as leaks never had a leak

no faffing with tucking wicks into holes etc just fan it and lay it down to the base just like any rda

and for the price compared to some of the other its great
It always 'ever so slightly' leaks for me when I have to turn the tank upside down and then back up again, but it pools on the edge of the AFC ring and pretty much stays there.

i pretty much vape mine dry so i cant see any juice left inside the glass then when refilling i fill just above the filling holes so i see the juice then flip my mod upside down screw the tank back on turn right side up and vape away .

i dont use the anti spitback driptip as that mutes the flavor because it does not allow the internal condensation build up to escape properly

That is one of the situations when the leak happens to me, but it's only minor so I'm not fussed.

Me too - I'm using the extra drip tip which was supplied with my Subtank Mini :)

The only problem with them style RDTA,s where you are building ya coils over the top of the air flow hole is you are very limited to build variety pretty much horizontal builds only or stupidly complex external wicking style if you want to try vertical coil builds

and the chance of juice and condensation going down the hole and out the afc

in the end its what you want out of an atty

just google the name of atty and coils etc

and you will get a pretty good idea of the type of builds poss with said atty

Neither the Bellus or Aromamizer have below coil airholes. They are both side airflow only.

The Bellus has an oblong airslot so is really suited for horizontal builds only. The Aromamizer is suitable for either horizontal or vertical builds.

When working with a bottom airflow design, you should make your coils long enough to span the airhole so your wick isn't dripping into it. And check your wicking before filling the atty to ensure none of the wick is in or touching the airholes.

Vertical coils work better in the Aromamizer, it's a myth! :)

each to their own

i just know i can get bigger fatter claptons placed verticaly than i can horizontaly in my Aromamizers.

i like a bigger dia coil as it can hold more wick for more juice,
thats just my preference and i know i get better flavor out of my aromamizer,s .

some like the flat flavor build i like vert .

I hard a Cthulhu v2 ordered from smog distro....needless to say that never came. That was the one that I wanted originally, but new gear comes out almost weekly it seems, so I was hoping to get something that was better, and if not - still get the Cthulhu v2. Biggest gripe I heard was finicky wicking and juice control ring issues. Also, many said the single coil option was a complete waste.

I have found the single coil (Kayfun-style) deck to be pointless. I almost exclusively run the dual coil (Velocity-style) deck...and the wicking can be conquered, it's not that difficult, just a little finicky.

I have a griffin, While the juice control is a bit loose the air control is tight, took me a few trys to get the wicking just right. one of my screws on the deck stipped out after a build but it has a extra in the bag. it does have a nice balance of taste and clouds. all in all I would rate it at 7/10. I was going to order another in black but think I will wait untill they fall under the $20 dollar range.

I stuck a dual coiled vertical clapton build into my Aromamizer for the first time and the first issue has been raised - the wick became dry so the juice is not wicking well enough. Any suggestions? I fumbled around with the cotton again, lined up the airflows better and did not tighten the deck (base) all the way to encourage easier juice flow. I hope this will do the trick.

Edit: The one thing I forgot to do was wrap the coil backwards. Is there much importance with doing this?
