which side of the atty is meant to maintain the atty by keeping it wet?

So its any drip pit maintains a wet atty... i dont beleive it, the hole of the atty is on the battery side, the the opposite side is the braid of meteal that heats up. Which side is meant to drip to maintain the atty?? Just another quick question..... Would a standard drip tip work with these lr attys'? :LR510 Atomizers Pack of 5 the LR510 atomizers.

Standard drip tips for 510 work, a 306 needs a special drip tip(i believe).You need to drip in the open end where the braid of metal is..and keep it wet or you will fry it but only 3 or 4 drops at a time take about 6 maybe 7 good drags and 3 or 4 more drops etc. Hope that helps and welcome to ecf.
