Are you UK, @BanjoBenjo ?

I'm afraid V2 is just basic 'hyped' kit at a totally monstrous price. Avoid them and tell your friends. They are probably to top brand for just taking peoples money pretending they are the best ever in the entire galaxy.

You won't have to replace the tank, but you will have to replace the coils.

I am sorry to say Vape Hit are possibly breaking the law with their website. That's what is going on out there. So... when you get it... STOP shopping at these places. The replacement parts (the coils) are a total rip-off.

There are lots of good UK stores. You can do better. Your wallet will thank you too. :)
MAN! I just googled that and the pound to Can$ conversion..$67 and change!
Looks ok for a starter kit but I wouldn't spend any additional money buying new tanks for it. Wait until you want to do a full upgrade to a better Mod, then start buying new tanks.
Now let me see if i remember right.. the lower the resistance of the coil, the more juice you use, and more vapor. Something to keep in mind. For example 18mg nicotine might be just right on a 1.8 ohm coil, but on a 0.5 or 0.3 you are going to end up nic sick pretty fast, so would want like.. 12 or 6mg. More vapor (cloud) means more nicotine per puff.

And if you really wanted to have some fun.. try something like a kanger toptank mini (only tank i own actually-but going to get a new tank soon). That one has a rebuildable RBA mini. Like what you use now, but you can re-coil and rewick. 30ft of wire runs about $8 canadian, say.. 6 pounds? A pouch of cotton bacon.. $8 can so another 6 pounds (aprox..cost may vary at your location) and $16 is what i was paying for 5 coils, where the spool of wire would make about 60 coils.

building simple coils is pretty easy. And I posted a video on here on how to coil and wick that kanger TTmini. A forum search should find it. Lots of vids on youtube, but a lot of members liked my vid because I am pretty stupid and if I can do it... they figured they could do it.

Kind of, like 3 hits in a minute. For some reason clouds weren't as big as before and then had a burnt taste, so I washed the coil, cleaned everything, primed the coil and gave it 30mins to sit. Gonna check in 10min if things got better if not then I will go to my local shop get a coil and ask them to check my ecig. It says my ecig has a 0.2ohm triple coil. I am not sure what the "triple" part means, do I get any coil?

This is the shop where I am planning to go Wicks/Coils any recommendations?

@Edit
Seems to be fine now, no burnt taste and clouds are decent. Still I get tiny amounts of juice leaking through air vents, I don't know how many times did I blow in but it comes out every now and then.

@edit2
Nope, after 10mins (~10 vapes) I got burnt taste again and bottom of the battery got hot real quick, almost burning my fingers. So what do I do now?

@BanjoBenjo that link sends me to an unknown e-cig store in the UK.

What are you doing? Why would you want to shop at a place where they charge SO much money per single coil. They don't even know what they are selling... seriously?

They call an Aspire mini Nautilus coil a "BVC wick" and charge £2.50. w.t.h?
Just avoid that, please... (sigh)....

They are also ripping people off with old-style Protank and iClear coils.

They say they supply joytech's products so I thought they are ok, I can't possibly know if they are good or not when I am a newb isn't it? That's why I asked here.

edit: I bought Wismec Amor Tank Plus since it was on sale, it comes with 4 coils so I should be set for some time. Jeez I hope I can finally vape tomorrow, this is driving me crazy. If not then I give up vaping.

    No No, don't do that. It's just a learning curve. Just read and ask questions here and a few months down the road you'll be helping newcomers', like yourself.

    It's like knowing nothing about electronics and then be given a smartphone to set-up :)

    There are people here that are blind and crippled and somehow vape. Older folks with arthritis and bad eyesight and no computer skills push themselves to learn and vape.

    You'll be fine.

    Don't give up mate. I know it's frustrating not to have success and feeling like you are wasting money but look at the alternative you are suggesting as stinkies have to be the worst waste of money ever.

    @BanjoBenjo

    My bad. Totally 'off' from me; I am sorry. :(

    It's frustration getting the better of me. The world of e-cigs is just a wild place with all sorts of very greedy people selling all sorts of stuff, sometimes just taking advantage of people.
    What that store is doing is selling the new stuff (sure) but selling the old stuff for even more. Pretty shocking and very deliberate. I got cross.

    Modern coils (atomizer replacement heads) are £9-£12 for a 5 pack. If you have to pay £12.99 to buy them from an authorized stockist, then it's only a quid or two and could be the safe play.

    I don't know much about Wismec. I know they are part of the Joyetech/Eleaf/Wismec brands which are mostly sold in the UK through Vapour Brands Ltd.

    As you might have already worked out, Totally Wicked is part of all this. Their shops are great, but you pay more for everything. It can be worth paying more, of course. Just always be aware they will sell products online for shop price when those products are on sale in other online shops (that belong to them) for 10-25% less price.

    If you have the stomach for it, you can also usually find most Joyetech products from Chinese shops. That is where you can save a lot on tanks and coils. As I said only a few days ago, if I buy coils from China, by the end of the year I'm £200 better off.

    ..and I've been doing this for 4 years, so that's £1,000 better off in the long run.

    Sorry @BanjoBenjo

    Thanks all, you make a great community here.

    @djsvapour

    No worries mate haha, I am aware there are shady businesses leeching off uninformed masses. It's like PC shops selling crappy and overpriced builds to people who don't know what to look at.

    Well at least now I know my device well enough, I know which part does what, how to clean it and maintain it so I hope I will get a new start with the new tank. The only thing left for me to deal with is mild anxiety when dealing with ecigs, those stories about exploding batteries... Whenever mine gets hot I feel like it will blow up any second lol

    as long as you practice battery safety - looking for rips in the wraps, collapsed in top, damaged period do not use
    using builds/coils etc appropriate for the batteries - not exceeding their amps
    not being like most of the idiots with exploding batteries - because they just stuck them in their pockets with loose change, it would happen with any battery never mind one of these

    it's unlikely to happen.

    oh and after charging, like with a battery charger... the battery will warm up, same with use, but after charging let it cool for a half hour before using it.

    It may seem frustrating, but you are getting a lot of hands-on learning.

    I only ever worried when I was pushing things to their limits. Learning about different brands of batteries, as @Cheallaigh mentioned, is good. E-cig hardware, as a whole, is not well regulated for safety. That is a reason people help. Salespeople are mostly about the money, so this is a better place.

    Lots to read and to ask before...

    Lol... I missed the whole thread... sorry, but I'm fasionably late?

    My thoughts...

    V2 ecigs.... I saw these, and thought they were horribly expensive. Their reviews are Highly faked. When I look at reviews, I look at punctuation, review scores, and content. Every reviewer on their ecigs has perfect punctuation, all have a 4 or 5 star rating, and everything is spelled correctly. When I look at an honest site's review, there are some mispellings, punctuation isn't %100 accurate, and there's always a low percentage that has SOME complaint... only 5 of the 500+ ratings have a 3 star rating... out of 500 people ordering, not one of them had slow shipping, disliked the flavor, or couldn't understand it? those are unrealistic reviews.

    Blue, greensmoke, other "cigalikes"... These things are attractive to current smokers because of their size... they look like a cig, feel like a cig, and draw like a cig... however, that's the only good thing about them. The batteries don't last a day, the vapor doesn't produce enough vapor to truly get someone to quit smoking, and are quite expensive. This is what I started with as well, but went with the larger "pen style" (AKA EGO) shortly after that. It's about the same startup price as the cigalikes, but refilling your own juice made it a lot less expensive. If anything, the cigalikes introduce smokers to the idea of using something different, but the pen styles are the first semi-serious vape that can get them to quit. The Ego's aren't the best IMO, but for some, that's all they need.

    The 30w-80w mods are where things start to get serious results on quitting smoking. Even with these mods, you can still use starter atomizers like the Aspire Nautilus, and have the option to move up the ladder with subohming. I've been vaping for years, and I still rarely go above 50w, with 30w being my normal. If you're a smoker trying to quit, I'd probably recommend something like an IPV D3 (silver) with an Aspire Nautilus tank to go on top. If you wanted to step it up, there are plenty of sub-ohm tanks that wold work with it.

    80w-300w (or more) These are the multi-battery mods, and are mainly for vape hobyists IMO. The only reason I use these, is for the longer battery life 2+ batteries provide. I've vaped at 100 watts before, (TFV4&Releaux RX200) and it's not to my liking. I mainly use my three battery mod for 50w vaping. but %90 of the time, I'm at 25 watt on a single battery mod.

    Anyways, hopes that helps a bit, if not, a bit informative.... good luck and happy vaping. Remember, if you have ANY questions, feel free to ask.. no matter how simple the question is.

    Reporting back. I really like the new tank, super easy to use and no leaking ^^

    Few more questions. Is there anything to keep in mind when chain vaping (safety wise)? And can I put in different liquid when current one is about to run out or do I have to clean the tank first? Am I risking burning a coil if juice is not fully covering those little holes inside the tank? What's the minimum VG:pG ratio I should be using to ensure good experience? I know VG - more clouds PG - throat hit/flavor but is there such a thing as too much PG in sub ohm vaping?

    Woooo can't wait to try all kinds of eliquids. Can you recommend fairly cheap but decent liquids in UK?

    You can top up when you like. If you stick with a similar flavor, then there's nothing wrong with vaping through the change. If you swap from Menthol or Tobacco to fruit or sweet, then you might regret it.
    I accidentally put some 'Boardwalk' (Enyawreklaw, DIY or DIE) in my tobacco tank. Yuk....
    I have vaped pure PG at times, and there's not much vapor... it's a bit weird. You certainly can have too much PG in a subohm tank; PG is very thin liquid and the tank can leak (through the coil) in a bad case.
    Yes... you want the juice holes covered all the time. You might get 10 puffs on an old tech e-cig but maybe not subohm. Call that a red light!

    Cheap and decent? I'd say check out L&T

    30ml Size - L&T

    or DripDrop

    Candy | DripDrop Vapour

    You might want to keep an eye out for special deals on 30ml bottles as they become illegal in May 2017.
