Lol... I missed the whole thread... sorry, but I'm fasionably late?
My thoughts...
V2 ecigs.... I saw these, and thought they were horribly expensive. Their reviews are Highly faked. When I look at reviews, I look at punctuation, review scores, and content. Every reviewer on their ecigs has perfect punctuation, all have a 4 or 5 star rating, and everything is spelled correctly. When I look at an honest site's review, there are some mispellings, punctuation isn't %100 accurate, and there's always a low percentage that has SOME complaint... only 5 of the 500+ ratings have a 3 star rating... out of 500 people ordering, not one of them had slow shipping, disliked the flavor, or couldn't understand it? those are unrealistic reviews.
Blue, greensmoke, other "cigalikes"... These things are attractive to current smokers because of their size... they look like a cig, feel like a cig, and draw like a cig... however, that's the only good thing about them. The batteries don't last a day, the vapor doesn't produce enough vapor to truly get someone to quit smoking, and are quite expensive. This is what I started with as well, but went with the larger "pen style" (AKA EGO) shortly after that. It's about the same startup price as the cigalikes, but refilling your own juice made it a lot less expensive. If anything, the cigalikes introduce smokers to the idea of using something different, but the pen styles are the first semi-serious vape that can get them to quit. The Ego's aren't the best IMO, but for some, that's all they need.
The 30w-80w mods are where things start to get serious results on quitting smoking. Even with these mods, you can still use starter atomizers like the Aspire Nautilus, and have the option to move up the ladder with subohming. I've been vaping for years, and I still rarely go above 50w, with 30w being my normal. If you're a smoker trying to quit, I'd probably recommend something like an IPV D3 (silver) with an Aspire Nautilus tank to go on top. If you wanted to step it up, there are plenty of sub-ohm tanks that wold work with it.
80w-300w (or more) These are the multi-battery mods, and are mainly for vape hobyists IMO. The only reason I use these, is for the longer battery life 2+ batteries provide. I've vaped at 100 watts before, (TFV4&Releaux RX200) and it's not to my liking. I mainly use my three battery mod for 50w vaping. but %90 of the time, I'm at 25 watt on a single battery mod.
Anyways, hopes that helps a bit, if not, a bit informative.... good luck and happy vaping. Remember, if you have ANY questions, feel free to ask.. no matter how simple the question is.
