To my mind, it doesn't get much better than the Protank II, and air-control would be that bit better, and that's an Aero Tank. So there's nowhere really to go from there. P Busardo said the Nautilus was better, but it was a close competition. Which is why I'm going to recommend the Russian 91%. It's the same improvement over the Protank as the Protank is over the EVOD. You have to learn to make coils, but a simple silica and kanthal set-up is fine and difficult to get wrong. Just make sure you have a resistance meter, because it is very easy to get a short by twisting the terminals.

I currently have a kanger aero tank and would like to buy another tank I'm trying to find a better tank. Don't get me wrong I do like the aero tank I know there has to be a better one out there.

What's your allotted budget, and what are you using to power your tank?

I do agree with this as I have since moved on to a KFL+ but I was recommending a smaller step. I would watch a few youtube videos on rebuilding the KFL or Russian and going for it if you believe it is something you can do. They are in a different league than the clearomizers such as the Protank and Nautilus.

i had the exact same issue last week, id tried rebuilding coils in the past and im terrible so i thought that RBA's were off my radar, however, i found a guy on ebay that sells pre built micro coils and he sells them for £1 each (1.5 ohm)

I bought a kayfun 3.1 clone and used the pre built coils and WOW!!! so so much better than the aerotank

as you live in york (im leeds) PM me if you want his info, i heard on here that kayfun and russian 91% are pretty immense and thats just what i found out

im not going back to clearo's

here's what it looks like on my 134 mini

its all about how much money you want to spend and how much more performance you want. The Nautilus is a good system but it is not that much better than the Protanks. Kayfun/Russian are a huge step up in performance but also in price. If you are comfortable paying $90 for a tank. Yes there are clones of these but they are hit or miss - if you go the clone route Hcigar's are supposed to be pretty close.

Well I just started vaping a few days ago and as of now I have a ego c twist but I'm gunna bump it up to a vamo v5 then if I like that I will be stepping it up more. And I don't wanna to spend to go much on a tank quite yet. The nautilus is rebuild able right?

The Nautilus is rebuildable in the sense that is has replacement coils and there's some videos on youtube for rebuilding the coils themselves. I have a Nautilus and really like it. They're a bit pricey and so are the replacement coils, but it's a nice clearo.

If you're looking for a clearotank and you're upgrading from the Kanger Aerotank, your only logical option would be the Aspire Nautilus. However, if you don't plan on rebuilding your coils, the replacements can be a bit expensive at $15-17 for a 5-pack in comparison to $6-7 for a 5 pack of the Aerotank's replacement heads.

I personally switched over to Carto-tanks and I can't see myself going back to clearotanks as an all day, every day thing. The vaping experience you get is fantastic and in my opinion, it's one step away of rebuilding in terms of flavor and vapor production. Notably the best inexpensive cartotanks on the market are IBTanked Carto Tanks.

Guides on these tanks and general knowledge of clearomizers/cartotanks can be found here:

100 % agree...my 8mil carto tank w/ a smoktech single coil is all i use other than my RDA's..i keep passing my unused stuff down to my son.. now he has a couple of iclear 30's,4 vivi nova's, several mechanical clones and , i kid you not, the best performing of all. an i clear 16 with 2 wicks trimmed about 2/3's on one of those 1300 MAH aluminum mod looking EGO's x-6 i think. but he is a dual user who hits my mech's with a dripper and goes WOW! so what does he know.:vapor:
