By far, Ahlusion. I rarely get one from them that I can't vape but I never get one that doesn't taste as its described. Thats my biggest pet peeve about liquid buying is when you taste something totally different than what's in the description. Also, their base mix/signature taste just works for me. I've had to cross many many well regarded vendors off my list because their signature taste is weird to me.

Exactly the same for me! :)

I know I will always at least "like" anything I get from Ahlusion; the real problem is I have ended up "loving" too many to keep in a daily rotation! :D

I spent gadzooks money in the first year of vaping hunting juices, only to be stopped cold by base mix/signature tastes that I simply could not bear. :(

Ahlusion by far for me. I have only come across 2 that I did not like enough vape but my wife loved them. Everything else is re-order or enjoyable enough to finish the bottle off. That is the exact opposite of most other vendors I have tried. Some may have a couple I like or absolutely nothing. The absolute worst hit ratio I have had is a tie between Rawr and Pinkspot. Nothing I ordered from them was even close to vapeable. Chinese juice had a better hit ratio then them.

Wow, thanks guys. Ambien, surprised you didn't care for Pinkspot. Quite a few I ordered from them I liked :) and I'm extremely picky......it just goes to show, once again, how taste is subjective. Not just taste, but combine that with the different batteries and delivery devices, and I'm sure no single juice even tastes the same.

Glad to see some vendors mentioned repeatedly in this thread....it really shows a lot on the vendors part. Ahlusions, Alice in Vapeland, Mister E, Mountain Oak, Nicoticket, and Vapor chef all mentioned more than once.....which Ahlusions and AiV mentioned a bunch. Interesting :)

I've used 3 vapors one home made. Of those I bought it would be NicQuid and Ahlusion though I've not received my order yet from Ahlusion but expecting it any day now. As for my mix it starts with Totally Wicked menthol at 34 mg of nicotine and cut down to 12 mg with VG with various flavors added to it. I bought a sample pack from NicQuid but then the AltSmoke BM store up the street from me has several that I've tried and I found one I really liked. Ahlusion I ordered the Smokin' Cherries as my wife and I smelled it and I tasted it a while back which was very close to a pipe tobacco I smoked years ago she loved. I do plan to buy a sample pack from them though in the near future.

My first six months it was Mr E Liquids. I never got a chemical/perfume there and wasted a ton of money on other vendors I did get that from. I stayed away from tobacco flavors except MELs Grey Matter because I was influenced by those here saying they were horrid. I was still smoking 5 or 6 a day and something had to give so I decided to take the tobacco flavor plunge. I mean with all the money I wasted on fruits and desserts, what did I have to loose? I got lucky and stumbled on Moutain Vapor... wonderful tobaccos!!! and now my ADV spot. I still buy MEL's Menthol as its the only one I've found that doesn't have mint in it and I just add it to my MV tobaccos when I want menthol tobacco so don't need to try the menthol tobacco MV sells but I'll bet its good. You are right... there is much to be said for a small vendor specializing in a few superior juices instead of the mall-type vendors selling page after page of juices and/or hardware... boutique vs Walmart. The only drawback I can really see is that if net purchasing gets regulated like tobacco is here in Arizona, I won't be able to duplicate my ADV from MV which is out-of-state for me. Don't know what I'll do then. If Arizona or the FDA doesn't get crazy with it I might still be able to buy it zero nic and add my own but they could get crazy and stop sales into the State from any ecig vendor. I could easily duplicate those at the Walmart-type places as they just throw an already prepared flavoring in a base... ya just can't do that with tobacco or most others flavorings for that matter and come out with the kind of quality MV sells.

supermarket, thanks for this thread.

I know we all have been thru the hits and misses, and we all have the receipts to prove it. "Oh! That one sounds good!" has been a mantra for some of us. And then we shop. And then we grimace.

When I started vaping, I didn't know one vliquid from the next. They were simply names. I had no clue what VG or PG even meant, nor did I know what mg. level I should buy. So I bought "whatever" and vaped it. Looking back, I'm amazed I stayed with it (as I was an accidental quitter, loved my cigarettes, and had no desire to stop smoking).

So when you ask what vendor and vliquid I found enjoyable and would order again, that's an easy answer. I found mine approximately a year after starting to vape. I was "lucky". I did a bit of checking on a popular thread here on ECF that was rating the "best" of the year. There were two contenders for top spot. I eagerly ordered from both. One I found ok to my taste, but never even finished the bottle.

The other stood out in the crowd. Yes, it was a liquid that was THAT good, and an experience I hadn't had after nearly a year of vaping. Naturally, I went back and more than willingly tried some of that vendor's other flavors.

Like you, I also unknowingly chose a vendor who had a somewhat small line up. Altho, to me, 15ish flavors was a big enuf menu of choices for me. One by one, I ordered, and each time I became more impressed with what I was vaping. I found myself re-ordering constantly, and soon the draw to order from every vendor on the block diminished greatly.

The consistently good vape was all I chased, and IS all I chase to this day. I am still feeling lucky as he11 to have found it with one vliquid vendor.

And like you.... my choice is NiteLiteVapor. And agree, their liquids DO stand the test of time.

(In addition to the flavors you listed, I would be remiss if I did not mention my absolute favorite all time flavor, NLV GOLD.)

With every e-liquid vendor we try, there are "hits" and "misses". Hits are keepers, or at least e-liquids we enjoyed and are likely to order again. Misses would range from e-liquid we simply didn't care for enough to think about re-ordering, to those that were downright disgusting.

I'm curious to find out with e-liquid vendors have given you the most hits. Which vendors have had the most e-liquids that you found enjoyable, and would order again.

For me, it is NiteLiteVapor. They have a surprisingly small selection, and there is a reason for that. They don't simply put out a liquid for every flavor, instead they find perfect blends that they spend tons of time on before releasing.....and ALL of their e-liquids stand the test of time.

Just about everything I've tried from them I've liked, the only exception being Sundance....which wasn't bad, but just not something I'd reorder.

Their e-liquids are among my favorites....Bounty Hunter, Capparillo (the only coffee e-liquid I actually enjoy...and BOY do I enjoy it), Tappulles, blueberry beach, etc.

No other e-liquid vendors have come even CLOSE to hits per e-liquid I've tried.

The runner-ups would probably be Pinkspot, and Roar. Most of the e-liquids from pinkspot that I've tried, I liked, and I'd have already ordered again if the price was a tad cheaper. Roar has quite a few good fruit eliquids I've tried.....and I have to say, I've enjoyed more samples then ones I didn't enjoy.

How about you guys?

What might be an even more worthwhile question, would be to break it down into 3
Best hit rate for ....
Tobaccos
Bakery
fruits.

As we know, while few vendors openly specialise, some are fantastic at one thing, and less than stellar at another..
Just a thought..

I agree totally!

I am not sure if others are like me or not, but unfortunately, if I order say 5 e-liquids from a new company, and I don't care for the majority of them, or all of them, or whatever.....I will not revisit that company. It is unfortunate for the company AND me, because the company could be missing out on my future business, and I could be missing out on awesome e-liquids, but it is the sad truth of the matter. Why do I avoid a company if I don't like the majority of e-liquids from my first order?

Simple put, because there are thousands of e-liquid companies out there, and HUNDREDS of ones mentioned on this forum alone....I don't have the time, nor the money to revisit e-liquid vendors that didn't impress me the first go around.

There are a few solutions to this:

1) Find out what the company specializes in, as you suggest, and order from that list
2) Order from a variety of categories, such as tobacco, desert, fruit, etc.
3) If you have a specific flavor profile THAT you prefer, use THAT as a reference point for each e-liquid vendor. For instance, I really like watermelon, so most e-liquid vendors I might try their watermelon flavor, to see how it fares.
4) Find the most highly reviewed/enjoyed e-liquids from the company, and order some of those.

Either way, I try to order atleast 5 e-liquid from each new vendor, and I really, really choose carefully which liquids I order....because the first order WILL decide whether or not I ever revisit the company again.
