I usually vape 2 volts over the ohms of my carto (4v with a 2ohm carto) but I'd rather use a 3ohm and vape at 5v because I get much better batt life. I vape in terms of volts rather than watts, only because I don't have a darwin or a kicked device. It all adds up to the same thing. some people vape by taste and have no idea what voltage or watts they are at. Without a visual aid, (like my provari or a voltmeter) I find that hard to do because with the wheel devices I have, a tiny turn of the wheel can push my voltage way higher than my carto can handle and I get too many burnt hits and burning a carto can ruin it. so my "dial to taste" has to be done by watching the voltmeter and dialing up one increment at a time till I get the hit I want without burning.
