Which way does it go???

I finally got my 510 attys in the mail! Yaaayy!!

But now that I have.. I enjoy dripping rather than filling a cart. Am using an empty cart on my atty... i have read you are supposed to line it up with the bridge thingy and i've also read that you are supposed to line it up with the white rectangle... which way is it supposed to go? I don't want to melt the cart onto my atty again. Thanks!!

if you look down at your atty you will see there are 2 flat sides and 2 round sides. and your cart has a similer shape. before drip tips i just lined them up the best i could.

If you want to drip I'd defo invest in a drip tip. Then you wont have to keep removing the cart to drip I personally love these (shorties) although a bit pricey they fit very snug.

You can find a cheaper stainless tip @ Janty or litecig although they are not contoured therefore not as comfortable in the mouth,

I find drip tips only useful as mouthpieces and not for actual dripping. The liquid takes longer to drain down into the atomizer, and some of the liquid will remain inside the drip tip, which causes juice to get into your mouth. When juice gets in my mouth, I'll have a problem with salivating for a few hours afterward, so I just remove the drip tip (mouthpiece), drip into the atomizer, and then replace the drip tip. It's just as quick, and then I don't have to deal with blowing the juice down into the atomizer or getting juice into my mouth. Don't know why they call them "drip tips"; should be called "mouthpieces."

I just put mine in any old way i don't try to line it up and never melted a cart, the cart does not come in contact with the bridge.

Well i have definitely melted a cart on an atty before so wanted to make suer i didn't do it again now that i have new attys. From what i have read on here it seems i was doing it right so that is good. I do plan on getting a drip tip at some point just to see what i like better but have to wait until i get paid again. thanks for the help, guys!

Curly - If you want to try drip tips without spending a lot, goodprophets.com has them for 99 cents each. I bought five of the metal tapered drip tips and like them (but I still like the stainless steel drip tip from litecigusa.net the best). I use them as mouthpieces and not to drip into.
