I bout the DNA30 Tobeca nd Sigele 30w for the smooth provari (even better) voltage regulation but I don't have time or the ability to build Kaylites and the like so I use 2 ohm clearomizers (aerotanks.) On a fresh battery these vaporizers burn the juice because the can't go below a certain power level (I believe 10W)

Which devices can down regulate. I think and correct me if I'm wrong the SVD, VTR, kick in a nemesis. Anything else I'm missing?

I believe they can go down to seven watts. It sounds like you either need to upgrade or downgrade! Devices like the Vamo, SVD, VTR, ZMax and all the other pulse width modulated devices will do just about everything except RDA/RBA's. The dna based devices are awesome as long as you go above seven watts. Fortunately, the new SX330 and SX350 chip devices can do it all! I recently got a Tatroe Atlas and it regulates up and down 5 to 50 watts with higher power upgrades in the future. It also runs in a bypass mode. The new IVP2 box mods from Pioneer4You should have similar specs for half the cost. They also don't use PWM! There's probably other stuff out there that I'm just not thinking of now. Good luck....

YiHi confirmed to me in an email that their SX330 V2 (7–35 watts) and the SX330 V2 (7–50 watts) chips do not down regulate. The chips are made for large scale manufacturing and the SX330 V1 and V2 are currently being used respectively in the IPV 35 watt and the IPV 50 watt box mods. The manufacturer, Green Leaf/pioneer4u seems to be working on a smaller versions of the 35 watt model.

The SX350 (5–50 watts) does down regulate, has an unregulated bypass mode and offers the option for the user to upgrade the chip via USB. The SX350 chip retails for around $70 while the DNA 30 chip retails for around $50. Prices of SX350 mods are in the same range as DNA 30 devices. So far, YiHi has not been selling the SX350 chip to large scale manufacturers.
