White box Protank3/Aerotech coils

All of a sudden I started having problems with vape production on my VV/VW mods with aerotanks. I believe I have traced it to a white box of the dual coil protech3/aerotank heads. Normally the come in a black box. The construction is certainly different with the wick not even exposed. Are these counterfeits or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Kanger recently came out with updated heads. It sounds like that's what you are describing. Try tightening up your draw a bit if your juice is thick. It will help draw more juice into the coils.

If so then you bought the new coils kanger came out with.

If you are not happy with these coils then buy the older ( Protank 3 coils ) they have the exposed wick. They are also dual coil.
