Has anyone received a box of Kanger atomizer heads with the blue sticker on the box yet? When you put a drop of water on the sticker it turns blue, then as it dries the Kanger logo returns. This blue logo sticker came on my Kanger Aerotank box and it works as advertised.

We've all gotten Kanger heads lately that last a day of two before losing vapor and flavor. Mine used to come in black boxes. Now, I'm getting white box heads that last somewhere between a few hours to a day. The genuine heads are supposed to be in black boxes with the counterfeit detection sticker if they were manufactured in May 2014 or later.

This is the link to KangerTech's warranty and counterfeit detection page.
KangerTech US Electronic Cigarettes - Kanger Official Website

There's supposed to be a scratch label that reveals a code you can input into KangerTech's verification site to determine genuine products. I suppose that each number would be used once. If your number has been input multiple times it would indicate a counterfeit product. I have black boxes and white boxes of Kanger heads and none have the scratch off code on the box. Obviously, none of my Kanger heads are genuine. The scratch off label is supposed to be there prior to May 1 and the blue Kanger circle sticker was added May 1, 2014.

Get the code and go to this website, enter the code to authenticate if it’s genuine:

http://szkanger.w155.4everdns.com/fangwei-en.htm

Starting on 1st May, 2014, we add a round label outside the package to stop counterfeit goods.
The major aim of this additional label is to help customers to verify the product is genuine immediately while they purchase the goods. However, customers are reminded that they still need to keep the Authenticity code for warrenty purpose.

Since our distributors may still keep some old stocks, customers no need panic as we practice running change. For those old packages, we suggest all customers to check the scratch label and key in the Authenticity code by clicking our web site or directly click http://www.szkanger.com/fangwei-en.htm to prevent counterfeit goods.

I had a white box of coils my vape shop sold me and they sucked. Your right few hours to a few days and they are dead. I just started rebuilding them. But the seals on the off brands seemed more brittle that genuine kanger coils.

I've gone through lots of frustration lately trying to get authentic Kanger heads. My local supplier changed from the black box Kanger heads to a white box that lasts anywhere from a few hours to a day before going South. The resistance rises slowly from 2 ohms to 4 ohms, at which point it's no longer usable.

Right now, I'm trying to find suppliers who have genuine Kanger heads in the black box. The price is the same for the real ones or the fakes and you hope that you get what's pictured on the site.

I have never received a "white" box of heads. That being said, I have old stock without the new stickers on them.

It's funny that the white box heads have the KangerTech logo printed on the end flaps and the same logo print on the foil backing of the bubble pack. I've compared the white box heads with the black box heads in my rebuild box and don't see any differences. At first I thought that it was a retail package vs a low cost vendor bulk package. Apparently, it's a knockoff pack.

my local b-m is working up a build for me that they will do with cotton wicks and get it down so that i just turn in my trashed heads and get nano coil heads back at approximately 1.2-1.4 ohms, i think this is going to slow down my purchases but i havent seen the blue dot verification yet. the clone industry is definitely exploding.

I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not, but I've received 2 black boxes of 1.8 ohm coils in black boxes for my EVOD in the last month without stickers from goodejuice.com.

They were probably made before May 1. My local vendor has black boxes left from one order and white boxes from a huge order she placed early in the year before the Chinese New Year. I don't think she knows which are knockoffs, either.

I have a box of Bvod BCC heads that look like the Kanger box, but there's no logo on it other than the industry markings for CE, SGS, a green leaf logo with a check mark in the middle, and something that looks like a green recycle logo. Other than that, it says "Coil Unit for EVOD BCC Cartomizer.

I sent an email to KangerTech about the above mentioned black boxes of coils and this is their reply:

Individual coil boxes do not come with authenticity numbers, so it is harder to determine their authenticity. Please send us images of the coils with any packaging (black box and silver wrapping), including any logos you may see on the product.

We sell coils and replacement parts guaranteed to be authentic on KangerTech US Electronic Cigarettes - Kanger Official Website.

For future reference, one online retailer that exclusively sells genuine KangerTech products is AllKanger

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

So I guess I'll order from allkanger.com from now on.

i got one of the white boxes. The first thing i noticed was that on the black box ones the foil on the packaging had kanger all over it. The white box ones had plain foil backing. I was skeptical about them and i tried one, it started at 1.6 ohms and after about 4 hours the resistance was up to 5.2 ohms.

I just got 4 boxes of coils from myfreedomsmokes.com that are all genuine.

That's what I've been finding. The resistance just climbs and climbs until the flavor is gone and the vapor falls off.

I just looked at three boxes I have on hand.

The white box of Kanger dual coils for the Aerotank Mega says KangerTech on the front of the box and has silver foil backing on the bubbles that says KangerTech over and over diagonally on the back.

The white box that DOESN'T say Kanger on the box says, "CC Clear Cartomizer Coil Unit" and doesn't say KangerTech on the foil backing, but it's on the front of the box with the circle KangerTech icon next to the logo. The coils inside the box are bubble wrapped foil backed and there's no marking anywhere except for "2.5 ohm" on one end. The stick on bar code label says "T3S coil 18".

The black box of Evod BCC coils doesn't say Kanger on the box and the bubble pack doesn't say Kanger on the foil wrapping.

My black box Kanger heads look like yours with the exception that they don't have the KangerTech logo on the flaps and the check boxes for ohms are on the side of the box instead of the wide face. Mine also didn't have KangerTech on the blister pack foil.

I ordered 4 boxes of T3S heads and one box of Nautilus DBC heads from Discount Vapers in Connecticut. They plainly state that they sell genuine Kanger brand products and do not sell knockoffs, counterfeits, or any products not made by the original manufacturer. I expect that I will get good heads from them and won't have the short life problems I've had with the obvious knockoffs.

I'll let the thread know how they perform. Maybe they will be new enough to have the blue water reactive sticker that was started May 1 of this year.

Those are exactly what I get from my distributor, those are the real Mc Coy's. Mine do not have the new water test logo (old stock) but the pics you have posted I have been receiving since day one.

Sorry if I am adding to the confusion Dave :(

Listen to this, Screw Kanger in there neck, I bought a Protank2 and they threw a Protank2 mini for $5.00 more, So I tried both of them and they sucked, didn't do nothing but spit juice in my mouth or gurgle and leak, So I e-mailed Kanger, telling them there product was crap, they returned the e-mail telling me, I got counterfeit ones and asked for the numbers off of the boxes, I sent them the numbers, they said they where counterfeit, I went to the Vapor Supply place I bought them at, and showed them the e-mails from Kanger, they got ...... off and called there Kanger rep, He called his boss, which in turn called Kanger, and showed them the e-mail stating that they sold counterfeits, when they came from the rep, and the rep got them directly from Kanger, So now the rep and his supervisior are not available to answer questions from Vapor Supply place. And when there Kanger crap runs out, they will not be re-ordering and dropping Kanger from there store, So Kanger just lost more business, with their Bull####, they screwed me with counterfeit BS, I screwed back and cost them a business customer.

I politely told them, what I thought of there products, wasn't asking for a refund or free stuff, just wanted them to know I was dissatisfied with there product, and they ####### Rattled my Cage and unleashed the beast, and the Carnage has only just ####### begun

God forgives I don't I get even with your ### don't come Rattling my Cage

I took pictures of the Kanger box labels before and after, I scratched the silver off, So how do they become counterfeit from the warehouse to the rep, then from rep to Vapor Supply store, or does it happen before it gets to the warehouse, that's what pisses me off, instead of acknowledging there product sucks and accept my dismay with there product, you get the counterfeit BS to cover there ### and don't honor #### and they get away with it, now its the replacement coils, its been the Protanks for a while now, whats next the product they are going to lie about and say is counterfeit cause it the easiest for them.
