Hello forum, I'm the new guy!

I have a kid on the way (due next month) so smoking ciggies is out of the question and it is obviously a nasty habit. I've been curious about e-cigs for a long time but have been apprehensive on dropping the big money for a starter kit.

Two days ago at the Liquor store I spotted a one-time use disposable e-cig (21st Century brand) and figured here is my chance to give it a shot. WOW! I loved it, I didn't crave those nasty real ciggies anymore. Next day I went in to the mall because I had seen the kiosk, all said and done I spent $120 for one battery, one usb charger and 10 cartridges. At the time I had no idea this was expensive (much less insane upon further research). It seems to vap just fine but my main questions are:

Are there other cartridges compatible with the White Cloud Cirrus I? I am NOT paying $20 for 5

Can I purchase liquid to refill the cartridges I have?

If I can't can you tell me what blank cartridges would fit?

Or should I just buy a whole new starter kit and forget all this happened?

If so, what kind? I enjoy the experience of the White cloud but damn the pricing!

I'm sure upon answering the above questions I will follow it with 8 more but thats okay cause I'm the new guy...right?

Thank you!
Johnny

the white cloud looks to be a kr808 model. parts are as common as water. check out vapor4life.com, the kr808 is the only model they carry and specalize in.

yes you can purchase blanks and juice to refill your own, those are also available at vapor4life. i believe blanks are around $9 for 5 and prefilled ones range from $6-8,9 for 5.

i use an 808, its a great model and i swear by it but the white cloud "brand" is grossly overpriced. they charge $90 for a battery when everyone else charges $12-$16. keep what you've got but buy any future parts and whatnot elsewhere.

Hello Johnny and welcome to ECF! I found an interesting thread over in the review section about White Cloud. You may be interested in checking it out. From the sounds of it, it's a kr808d-1. If that's true, then you should be able to pick up replacement cartomizers and liquid for refilling pretty easily from places like Vapor4Life.com.

If you want to pick up a whole new starter kit similar to what you already have for about $30, check out the ones at LiteCigUSA.

Ok, so you got ripped. Lots of people do but you didn't get it as bad as some of us if you got a KR808 in the process. Yeah it was overpriced but at least it's a decent unit, mine wasn't and the $120 I paid was a total waste. I've got to agree with trouble2k above, I'd just buy another starter kit for the $29.95 and you'll be all set. And yes, you can buy juice and refill the cartomizers yourself. You'll get better flavor and save a lot of $$$ by doing so. And it's ok to ask all the questions you want, that's what ECF is all about.

If you are really feeling burned by the kiosk in the mall, go ask for your money back. Take about 500 fliers advertising the ECF forum and the forum suppliers with some prices on kits. When the kiosk says no start handing out fliers next to his kiosk and 3-5 sales lost due to your fliers, he will give you your money back.

LOL!

I like this.

You won't be able to re-fill those cartomizers that's for sure. They are sealed tight. I have the same unit. I still enjoy it actually, but yeah, I'll be getting another one as well that's cheaper to replace cartomizers on and batteries as well, because the batteries don't last forever. Fortunately it takes me about three -four days to go through a cartomizer so the five white cloud (cirrus II) cartomizers I get in a pack last me almost three weeks.

I bet it's not a KR808D-1. The KR808D-2 and E9 are more popular same-look 2-piece Chinese wholesaler models for rebranders because rebranders usually want to sell you something that is NOT compatible with popular parts you could buy elsewhere. So in general, only reputable rebranders is the popular KR808D-1 (like Vapor4Life)

KR808D-1 and KR808D-2 look almost identical but have different threading and cannot use each other's parts. E9 also looks similar and may actually be the same as KR808D-2.
Another carto model (2-piece model) some rebranders use is RN4081 but it has the threads on the carto instead of on the battery (i.e. the carto screws into the battery, not vice versa)

If it is KR808D-2 then Azsmokefree actually sells KR808D-2 parts (cartos, batteries, etc)
The Better Way To Smoke - KR808D-2 Cartomizers

And those might also fit E9 (if E9 really is the same as KR808D-2)

I would recommend trying their cartos and see if they fit.

My brother in law got White Cloud over a year ago, and if they haven't changed since then the 808d-1 is compatible. Thats good news for you! And you can refill them even though some would beg to differ. The cap is glued on, so with some effort and a small screw driver, it will pop right off. Or you could use the condom method to refill. Just stand up the clear rubber cap, fill with liquid, and slowly slide the threaded end of your carto until all the liquid is gone. Depending on how empty your carto was, you may need to repeat this step to completely fill it up. There are many threads on how to fill cartomizers on ECF, just do a search and all will be good. Welcome, and enjoy your journey!

I'm just rescinding my previous statement that the White Cloud Cirrus II cartomizers can't be opened without destroying the unit. They can be, as eBillc mentioned. That technique works. They had me fooled into looking impervious. But they most certainly are not, now that I tried.

On a related note, I got my Brand Diablo 510s (I got everything they had both mega, short, and manual and auto batteries) and their 1.7 ohm "Hellfire Cartomizers" and I'm in heaven finally. Bottom line? No matter whether it's an auto battery, a manual, or what, what I just vaped from that unit puts my White Cloud in the dust! I'll be using this for a long time, it's a no brainer. It's almost heretical if not an outright lie for White Cloud to claim they make "tons of vapor" or "the most vapor from any other ecig".

I had to know, so I bought the Cirrus II, and I don't regret it because I'm thick headed and only trust my own impressions, I gotta try everything. Heck I'll even keep it so I can play with it some. I will say though that their standard tobacco cartomizer prefill was really really tasty and just one lasts a very long time for me. Vapor production is way subpar though and considering the price or not, I'd never recommend it. If it was $50 for the start up I wouldn't recommend it because it falls short on the vapor.
