Already Named my mix, but having problems Taming the beast.

Using these TFA flavors:
Dragon Fruit
Strawberry
Bavarian Cream
Coconut Extra
Ethyl Maltol

What percentages of each would you combine?

Attempting a create a Creamy(not buttery) smooth, slightly sweet Dragon fruit flavor with a mild coconut accent:D
My first attempt, after steeping 2 weeks is not sweet and has a slight Bite(tartness) but is lightly creamy.

Any volunteers want to take a shot at helping figure this beast out?:)

ETA - have additional flavors if required
Smooth
Sweetener
Many others

If it needs to be sweeter add one drop per 5ml of Sweetener then try it again.

Drop 1% smooth on your mix that is alright steeped and a tiny nit of em and see if that helps
Adding this info to my notes. Have to start another mix.

do you have vannilla custard from cappelle's?

Sorry, fairly new to DIY - Only have TFA Flavors for now.
Vanilla bean ice cream
Vanilla swirl
French Vanilla
Bavarian cream
Sweet cream
whipped cream

I played with dragonfruit a while back, and in my personal opinion, it doesn't combine well with sweetness.
Strawberry can be tart or sweet and it still generally taste like strawberry. If you add enough sweetener to
eliminate the tartness from dragonfruit, you are gonna end up with a very lite berry, which will be buried
by the strawberry.

I have found dragonfruit works well with spices ( like cinnamon and anise ) and/or menthol.

I've not had good luck with coconut... DIY or vendors. It's one of my favorite things in this world, so I've tried quite a few. They all give me a waxy/crayon taste.

I might up the EM and cream just slightly. An acid (lemon juice is good for fruity stuff) might help the flavor pop. Creams take a long while to steep, so be patient!

Good luck!

I like coconut. I have Coconut extra from TPA and in small amounts, it's great. (don't get a waxy taste, personally)
As for the original question, what I'm finding is that I prefer using E/M as a sweetener for tobacco/cigar/pipe flavors and sweetener (sucralose/etc) for fruits. The EM has a cotton-y taste that to me, doesn't go well with fruits.

After some thought, I added 1.5 drops Sweetener to the remaining mix and let set over night.
Shook well and used to top off the Test T3-mini. Shook well and let set for an hour. This worked out to approximately 2 drops per 5ml

 What a difference. The Odd twang is gone and the taste is so much closer to what I have envisioned. Need to tweak the Coconut just a touch and work on making it a bit more creamy. But this Definitely Has potential!!

You can try adding 1-2% TFA Sweet Cream and see if that also fixes the Coconut
