I know that a lot of people seem to want a color other than white so that their e-cig does not look like an analog. I on the other hand want it to look like an analog. Here in Virginia you can still smoke in bars and some restaurants. I don't want to have to explain to everyone I meet about the e-cig. So I would rather it look like an analog so no one notices anything different. I am a shy person and hate being noticed and having to answer any question to strangers. So having said that I really want a Dura and when they first came out Janty had a picture of a white Dura but they don't sell them. Anyone have any idea where I can find a white Dura in the US? (I was also thinking of buying an EVO/Pilot but unfortunately they only come in black, except the Evo in the uk.)

No suggestions on a white Dura, but I did want to comment on your preference for a cigarette looking model. I get what you're saying because I'm normally kind of quiet myself. However, I'm finding that it's a good conversation starter to have an e-cig that doesn't look like an analog. :)

I'm so excited about e-cigs as an alternative to tobacco that I'm actually starting to enjoy people asking me about it. It gives me an easy opening to share some basic information about e-cigs. I kind of feel like a goodwill ambassador for the e-cigarette. It's really changed my life, and it feels good to be able to help spread the word.

Without exception, my e-cigarette has been received either neutrally or positively, but never negatively.

Not a Dura, but Katy at thesmokelessshop has white 901s.

Yes absolutely, I feel the same way. :)

In a house.
Try a Gamucci Micro.. some reviews have been poor but others great.. like most products out there. You can pick one uo for arond £40 / 50US. about the same as a RN4081 regarding vapor. ive tried a friends topped with JC and its pretty decent!

I don't know what Gamucci Customer service is like in the US but here in the UK it's non existent. There were big problems with the Micro and nobody could get any satisfaction from Gamucci. I bought a penstyle and i could'nt even find a place to buy Carts and Generic Carts dont fit it.
It was rubbish anyway. e-cigs.co.uk has white DSE901's arriving shortly so Puresmoker might have them coming in as well. I know they've both got links to each other's Sites.

People were talking about the Red Dragon in a thread recently, It looked very much like an analog. Maybe you could get a Dura for home and something like the RedDragon for going out and avoiding questions. The e-cig.com ones look "real", but the reviews aren't good. Don't forget to consider the LED color, blue might attract attention.

I just ordered a white 901 from thesmokelessshop.com (orange LED, tan tip) for similar reasons, no attention. I'm kind of kicking myself because after I ordered it I looked super close at a picture and it doesn't have the rounded analog-style tip, its flattish, whistle-like. This is my first e-cig, and I don't know how that's going to work for me. We'll see!

You can buy carts for your classic all over the place. I usually buy from prezzybox.com
Gamucci customers service was ok for me, they replaced an atomiser within a few days!!

Not for long.

(Damn...can't post links till I hit 15 posts)

Anyhoo... December 1st, ban on smoking.

I'm in VA. also. I just found out about electronic cigarettes about a week ago. Waiting on my first order.

I did not know they were going to ban smoking, I just wanted to do something "supposedly" healthier. I ordered realistic looking cigs from bloogplanet and epuffer. Now I wonder if I will end up buying something that is obviously NOT a cigarette when the ban takes place. Just so I don't have to argue much.

I'd really recommend if you end up getting one of the 4081's/peewee type ones that you get a seperate, bigger size one too. My parents both smoke and I bought them the peewee and they used it for a day then cast it aside. My mom has a VERY light drag so it didn't work for her and my dad didn't like the lack of throat hit.

So now I am trying to use it but I just bought a usb 901 and a regular 901, each was about $30 from some random store and ebay.
