My new eGo cartridges in white came today. These babies are tough! I can only compare them to the blue ones but....I usually put them on the atomizer empty to pierce the membrane and let me tell you they weren't easy to pierce. The second one was tougher than the first and finally I heard the pop, went to pull the cartridge out and only the tank came out. The cap was still sitting on the pointy thing. I tried to grab it with a long tweezers but it was a no go. Panic started setting in...I decided to try and put the tank back on the cap, heard it snap together, crossed my toes (I needed my fingers) and gave it a straight pull. Both pieces came out intact!

Not that I had any real leakage with the blue ones, this could be a good sign that the white ones are tougher and may be less apt to leak. :)

Interesting. Does sound like the white tanks are made a little tougher. I am still working on my 5-pack of light blue tanks. So far, I have not had any problems with the blue.

Being able to cross your toes sure does come in handy, doesn't it? LOL

Thanks for the update on the white tanks. Keep us posted as to how they are doing for you. Inquiring minds want to know, etc.

Every atomizer and cartridge I ever used, leaks. I didn't think there was any way around it...

I deleted my post. Salt, they are talking about tanks, not cartridges...

I never had a tank leak. I have the black and the blue ones.

Cartridges leak and need to be modded. Tanks work out of the box, at least in my experience. As usual, YMMV.

I give mine a 180 twist after piercing to make sure no chads are blocking the opening. They should come out after that without a problem.

That's a good thought.

Also... I was including tank cartridges in my definition of cartridges. :)

But I must say, the Ego-t system, gas been the least leaky atty/cart combo I've tried.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I was confused. To me a 'cartridge' is that leaky thing with filler.

I never had a leaky 'tank'. Maybe I'm just lucky. They are golden on those new 3.7v Rivas.
