Scott Bonner (I think?) the British dude, I think he does some great reviews, they are very professional and straight forward. My only problem is that a lot of the stuff he reviews is hard to get in the US.
Phil Busardo is another favorite, very informative, technical, and funny as well. I watch his reviews even if it's a product I have no interest in, and sometimes that actually leads me to finding stuff I otherwise wouldn't.
I like Grimm Green too, but not a huge fan of his review style. It seems more like sitting down with a buddy and having a chat about
vaping, instead of a straight up review. He seems to leave a lot of technical issues out sometimes, or fails to mention comparisons or other specifics. I'm just very picky. But I do like his vids!
I'd have to agree with the OP, it seems most of the more popular reviewers are getting quite out of touch with the average vaper. While I have yet to hear anything from them that was over my head, I have seen quite a bit that was over my budget. Doing 20 reviews of 300 dollar devices is awesome, but the vast majority of people can't afford to be constantly picking up new devices. I really wish they'd get back to some lower-end stuff just to be more relevant to the majority of vapers.
Although I can totally relate to why they would loose interest in the lower end stuff. Most devices these days of the same "class" if you will, such as cigalikes, eGos, mech mods, VV/VW devices, and Genisis, are pretty much on par with each other, with only a few minor differences, or just cosmetic differences. To get into larger differences between devices you really have to go to VV/VW or genesis devices. A cigalike is a cigalike... it works or it doesn't. An ego is basically just and ego, with any differences being evident with a quick reference to its stats. There just really isn't much to be said about those type of products
I wish they would focus more on heads and other add-ons, instead of mostly devices. And I'm not talking about anyone specifically, just in general. This would be something both new and veteran vapers could relate to, as most people are always trying out new attys/cartos/tanks/clearos/whatever else.
Oh yeah, I had to edit this because I totally forgot, there is also the guy "Lord Davon" I believe that I've been starting to really like, he isn't as polished as some other reviewers, but offers excellent and thorough content about pretty much everything he reviews.
There is also some younger looking kid with very long hair who does some good reviews, although on devices that I generally am not terribly fascinated with, but they seem like solid reviews. Sorry, can't remember the name. He was on VP live I think it was several weeks back.
And on the subject of reviews, it's like nails on a chalkboard when I hear people say "MAHH" as if it's a word. mAh. Milli-amp-hours, it's easy to say! (and fun too!)
