I have prevented my mom from calling up those free offers on tv.I am looking for a good priced, and good working E-cigarette for my mom.We live in CA,USA.
She spend close to $50 a week on cigarettes so anything under $100 will work i think budget wise but if there is a really good one out there I am willing to shell out more.I need her to quite so badly.
Also how do they work? i hear about "atomizers" and juice..cartridges and battery's.A short explaination will be very appreciated! thank you

Then she and I are very similar! I was a 2 1/2 pack a day (referred to on here as "PAD") smoker.

I almost had a recommendation, then I thought of a few more questions LOL! Does she drink coffee? Also, does she like fruity/sweet stuff? And finally, does she spend a lot of time sitting in one place (like me, at a computer)?

Yes she drinks coffee and gets a huge craving to smoke right after coffee.she smokes when she wakes up in the morning and if she wakes up in the middle of the night she has to smoke. She does sit in one place a lot haha. She smokes mindlessly in front of the tv.Fruity or sweet? no she doesn't like that.Especially for a flavor in the cigarette it self.Thank you for your help!

I personally like Vapor4Life KR8808d1 batteries and prefilled cartomizers. I use the XL batteries - this route is more expensive than filling your own cartomizers with juice but very easy and I got my 70 year old father to join me in this venture. In the future I may look into buying juice of our favorite flavors and re-filling our cartomizers, but for now the ease has kept both of us smoke free for almost three months.

There is a sticky thread about free trials - don't do it! Some people have ended up losing thousands of dollars then have to get a lawyer etc. You tell your mom there is a whole glitzy looking rip-off seedy top crust of e-cigs sellers that look respectable but actually rip people off (doing things like charging $50 for a spare battery when it should be $15, selling carts that are hard to refill, not selling any blank carts, selling models that are incompatible with anything but other rebranded models). And tell her anything the same size as a king cigarette (called a super-mini) satisfies few people for more than a few weeks - they are just a bit too weak, too small carts, too short battery life.

Popular beginner models are Joye 510, DSE901, and for a cartomizer model (a 2-piece) KR808D-1
And if she's a heavy smoker or needs extra longer battery charge, look at the fat-battery versions of those which are Ego, Riva, Elegant Easy

Some good hardware vendors
LiteCigUSA.net - low shipping and good prices, no problems with anything I've gotten there
Vapor4Life.com - a respected rebrander of KR808D-1 with some prettier colors and many filled cartos

And for bottled ejuice I like FreedomSMokeUSA, Backwoods Brew, Velvet Vapors (which should reopen this weekend)

And since you are doing the legwork, you should watch/read the following in the sticky threads of New Members forum
1. newbie videos
2. thread wtih Library in its title leads to an illustrated multipart guide
