Vaping is totally a hobby for me: all my mods are home-made, all my atties rebuildable.

A hobby the wife considers ridiculous: RC Helicopters

don't even get me started!!!ever since i was like 8 i have been cycling through hobby after hobby after hobby. mainly collecting things. i collected/built guitars, then went through a magic phase (geek i know) then i collected coins then i collected zippos then i collected hats and now i collect vaping gear lol. i have an EXTREMELY addictive personality to say the least. the only thing that sucks about my love for hobbies is that they are usually just phases that i don't stick with. when i collected coins i was going to coin shows and scouring the internet 24/7 putting together a beautiful collection of old silver half dollars and rare coins form colonial times. my love for it started to flicker out and i ended up selling my entire collection for about 2000 dollars. that money is now gone and i have nothing to show for all the time and effort i put into those coins. everyday i wish i hadn't sold them. same thing with my guitars and lighters and hats. usually i sell off one hobby to pursue another. hopefully that doesn't happen with vaping lol!!!

*lol* yeah there's a shocker that a lot of us are serial hobbiest!!

the only ones that have consistently "stuck" since adolescence are cooking, motorcycles, muscle cars and fishing, maybe some travel in there preferably with motorcycles *lol*.

ones to master and fall to the way side
Metalsmithing/beading/jewelry making
Extreme sports (diving cliff.knees blew out)
coin collecting (still have a killer one my uncle started me on)
Hunting, my "almost" son in law's a butcher for an "artsy grocery store" and I just can't justify it anymore for some backstrap and venison sausage. Although I'll still gear up to go help a friend clear some hogs off his hill country ranch and put that pig in a pit and bbq until the next day *lol*
Paintball when my son was young, mom skinnied up a tree and they all were going down! *lol*
Gardening I had the most beautiful rose garden in the neighborhood, patent's, antiques, even used to go with the "Rose Rustlers" to graveyards to clean them out and get old Victorian unnamed varieties, it was fun, but *yawn* been there and it's got a huge "fiddle factor" I still keep an Herb garden and a few roses but I'm done being Ladybird Johnson *lol*
scuba and archery (nice collection and man cave btw, I hunted with a 100#compound bow, it seemed more "fair" somehow :p many and not all come to mind too..and there has been a lot..used to play flute, guitar and piano, and sing in the choir and was "chior mom" and with a friend's band in Nashville in the mid to late 90s.... but now just to the radio...enough!!

Before I got sick
RC every thing cars, planes, boats, helos, as a kid I even hooked up my room to a radio
Fishing even rc fishing with boats and helos. Nothing funnier than dragging a fly beind your rc boat for a bluegill and a big bass takes it and your boat under, not so funny when it happens to a helo though.
Hiking and outdoor photography.
Boating and sailing.
Comic books and fringe art.
After I got sick
Vaping flavor chasing, cloud chasing, a stint with goofy coil building and of course mod and topper collecting. Even tried to make an rc dripper once. Still have my rc vaping caddy in use, now to figure how to tie in a battery charger.
Computer games, PS3-4, xbox, pc and phone.
People watching Wal mart and dirt malls best because greatest range of people.
Internet surfing

I'm not really a hobbyist. I can say that most of my portable device's hardrives are filled with e-books. Ran out of shelf space at home for all the books. I suppose computers are a semi hobby for me, although most of what I mess with for that is done for work. It just so happens that I enjoy that part of work. Vaping is my only real hobby that is taking up physical space and money. Since my husband can't beat it, he's joined it. While I explore the equipment, he'll be mixing the juice.

I was and am a serial crafter.
Paper quilling ( odd but in expensive craft )
Beading
Lace making by hand (weaving)
Tatting ( more lacemaking with knots)
Heirloom sewing for babies ( hand, no machine)
The list could go on and on but vaping has topped the list although I do one or many of these crafts everyday I vape first, rebuild often and buy liquids more than craft supplies lately.

Vaping is still a hobby for me, though I must admit it has fallen off quite a bit since I've figured out what I like and what works well. My other hobbies include watersports (specifically canoeing), guns, knives and anything with a motor--specifically 4x4s and motorcycles.

Blacksmith would be awesome--I've always wanted to learn to blow glass, myself. I've also always wanted to be a Silversmith/Goldsmith/Make jewelry etc but more in a professional aspect than hobbyist.
