I just ordered one is today from Electronic-Cigz as my first PV related purchase of the year. Read and watched a lot of good reviews on this product. Anyone own one locally? Feedback?

Here's a stock image..

I own a Silver Vein Omega and it serves me well. Keep in mind that this doesn't ship with the servicing wrench anymore, I was hoping it would. The switch works, I haven't had a misfire in my pocket (but I am still cautious and only keep it in a chest pocket) and it will not tarnish or need polishing, unlike the Nickle finish.

It's rugged and dependable and after going through a few eGo batteries it's precisely what I wanted.

I've had my Omega for only a few months, but I use it every day. The only issue I have had was over-dripping. Some devices have a much more pronounced reservoir and when my Omega leaks it goes directly on my hands.

I was a chronic over-dripper and once I learned to keep it under control it has been fine. Basically, I expect my Omega to be around for years and years while my other mods will need repair or will eventually break. I'm not sure what mods you own and etc but my 3.7v 18650's with an LR 306 or a standard 510/306/901 atties for 6v with 2 RCR123A's is just awesome!

The Omega arrived today. It is a very slick device and the size is perfect for my hand. I don't think that dripping will be a problem as I will be using it primarily with 2.6-2.8v CE2 Cartos. I've also never had an over-dripping problem with my eGo's or other mods. It definitely feels solid enough that it could last a couple years with proper care. Thanks for all the shared info, NoizMaker.

You're welcome Dusty! Yeah I am a chronic over dripper, so not many others have that problem. It's very rare now that I get juice on my hands at all but it happens from time to time. I really can't see this mod breaking, short of leaving out the Noalox on the unit's threads and possible cross threading.

Gotta love the Omega :)

I have to admit this is the one PV i have managed to not buy (silver bullet,Leo,Ali'i,gg slim etc) because i assumed it was about the same diameter as the silver bullet. Is it? or a bit slimmer? I think with the new line of single battery high volt variable voltage devices being so slim now that the omega and SB might just become a tad bulky. As users do you like the size? or is it not as big as it appears?

The device is much smaller than it looks. I don't own a Silver Bullet but I know because the tube is tapered that it is a bit smaller in diameter and roughly the same height. The first thought I had when I took the device out of the package was how small and light it was. I was half expecting a self-defense PV with the pics I saw. Basically, it's a little less than a quarter in diameter.

I'm looking to getting VV because I am sick of dripping while I am on the go though, and 3.7 / 6v is either too weak or too much for Boge 510 cartos.

This thing is hitting like a champ.. even compared to my other 3.7v mod (the lowly Bauway 3000K eGo). The combination of CE2 and 3.7 is making the Omega a fog machine. Loving it..

Highly Recomended!
