Crickey thats a bit of a treck from Malta to Tamworth
but looks like it could be worth it!.I grew up in Birmingham for 20 years and know it pretty well. I would think you would need to get a train either from Birmingham Airport to Tamworth OR from Airport to New Street Train station and then one back out towards tamworth, though I have not used public transport for the last 6 years nearly so hard to say.
Was all set to go, then a death in the family happened overseas. Vapefest budget has dwindled to nowt. I hope everyone has a blast though! Can't wait for pics and video!

Sorry to hear the news...always sad to see friends and family leaving us.

But my Uncle was a giving man and my family is having a celebration of life instead of a funeral so it's not so sad!
Would loved to have gone............. I could have got there to enjoy most of the day, can't stay overnight but the train fare is way too steep from where I live
Have looked at the possibility of car sharing, but no-one from my neck of the woods is going. shame as I would have liked to have done it

I'm definitely going... though my journey is taking a 2-3 hour detour from South Wales, across to Aberystwyth to pick up Minyddol (Jason) and then across to the venue.
Really looking forward to the day. (though not looking forward to the driving)
Anyone down here in South Wales who wants a lift, please msg me, and I'll see if I can accomodate.
(well, the car is a 7 seater, so if there's a few people who want a lift, then I'll be leaving midday heading to Aberystwyth, then making the way towards Tamworth in the early hours.)

.. it's this Saturday in Tamworth (Birmingham), it will be the biggest gathering of vapers in the world, free juice, free entry, more devices on display than you can shake a stick at, and a ridiculous raffle that's too sumptuous even for the emperors of Rome!

I went by train, by myself last year and had absolutely no problems chatting
to complete strangers, as if I'd known them forever . . . so anyone going by
themselves, don't worry!
