im going with the mrs and kid, as the kid will have to stay outside and play, i will also be on my own inside the venue :) im sure few people be on thier own, and everyone seems to be nice and cool, so im excited, leaving at 2 though to go watch Aston villa:)

Kids are allowed in the Moat, there is a play area.. I have been down the venue today delivering our companies beer mats ( bennets taxis) Things are looking good, the marquee is up and the workmen are finishing everything off. As I said earlier it is a real nice old building, very old with a vast car park at the front and room to park at the back. Do not park at the high rise flats next door as you will get a ticket. Someone on another thread moaned about the location but Tamworth is in the centre of Britain and was once The Capital Of Mercia ( England), It has fantastic access to the motorway system, no traffic jams here. I think that is why it is held here. The town is very historic and I reckon you will like it..

I'm waiting for my flight now...arriving at Birmingham at almost midnight...I guess busses don't run so late so I may just wait in the airport for the first morning bus...ah the joys of travel...hahah

See y'all soon!

It's not far to go to the train station, but there will be no trains to here at that time either from Birmingham International or New St Birmingham. The first train from Birmingham new st to Tamworth is around 6 am , after then they are about every half hour....I am not sure if there is a direct one from Birmingham international. Buses are about every 20 mins from central Birmingham to Tamworth but there will be none when you get here, they start around 6am. Try and get one that is an express as some take an hour or so to get here.. Should say X76 or something on the front of bus, but please do ask. Have a good flight and see you later...Cliff. The train takes 10 mins and costs about £6/7 return ?

Great. The car park is for vapers only and notices have been put out to that effect. The staff are a little bewildered by it all so I gave a demonstration of vaping using a joytech 650 and clearomiser to show them what they may expect. Some vapers are arriving this evening for the carvery. All is looking good for the event.

Yes mate.. The car park is for sole use of the visiting vapers. The whole place will be taken over by vaperheads, this is a private function, so none of the usual clientele will be there.

Quite a few pics already posted on AAE-C UK - looks like it is very busy & everyone is having a fantastic time :D

Yep real busy.. I popped in twice today, grabbed some RY4 form Paula at Vapourworld checked out the many vendors, met with the organisers, had a hot pork roll and I have now come home....I missed you Screwbag :-( ( Are you still here tomorrow?) I met some folk from Hungary and Sweden, must say it was very well put together and there will be more meets to come. It can... only get better.

Even though I couldn't get to Vapefest Uk, I want to thank Wayne & all the others that helped organize it & make it such an amazing event. I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the various pics/vids & live broadcasts on all of the UK forums :D

So a huge thumbs up to the organisers, vendors & everyone that attended UK Vapefest 2012 for making it such a fantastic event

A fantastic time had by me and a large number of Members from AAE-C, a hoot
from start to finish! Loved it, only sorry there wasn't more time to say hello
to a few more people.

A massive undertaking for Wayne, the event organiser as the numbers attending
were between 800 - 1,000 . . . how it's grown from the first one, when around 100
Vapers went!

Huge thanks to him and to all the supporting Vendor's for their outstanding
generosity with the Raffle prizes. :toast:

My favourite ' Vapeface ' photo of the day, after one of the guys had a toke on
some Diablo Loco . . . .

Missed that one... I heard mention of a video earlier in the thread, but can't find anything on the tube, perhaps it is to early? Wow 800/1000 that's fantastic. The more the merrier.

Ok I'm at the airport again...this weekend has been a blur! Thanks to everyone yet again! And to everybody who missed it, you really missed out on a great time.

Rolygate, sorry that I didn't have that chance to meet you, I hope all is well with you and yours!

Thanks again to everybody else, loads of new friends, new toys, and new memories! Now I just have to sit and vape while I wait for my plane....not necessarily a bad thing right?
