I bought 8 protected trustfires from Deal Extreme mid November. Now, I have 4 that still work but they are only good for about 3 hrs. I also notice a significant drop off in vapor after about 2 hrs.

Needless to say, I threw in the towel and ordered 5 tenergy which should be here by Friday.

NOTE: The original 2 tenergy batteries that came with my Protege still work fine and I can vape on them for about 5 - 6 hrs. Yes, I am a serious vaper..lol :)

Now all I need is the longer button for my mechanical switch..poke poke..Caaasey! I think the post office monster ate the package! hehe 8-o

Different discharge rate. A slower discharge rate = poorer vape. But it allows a batt manufacturer to claim a higher mah rating.

yeah, strictly aw's...the protected 14500s are excellent, and the aw lifepo4 batts (rated at only500mah) are proving to be more enduring than the recommended tenergy 750 batts for the prodigy v2...and they fit! :)

AW sells direct on the CandlePower forum. You'll have to sign up to the forum to order from him and he ships direct from Hong Kong. I haven't taken the time to join their forum to order them.
AW's LiIon Batteries Sales Thread *Part 11* - CPFMarketPlace

His paypal email is in that thread (near the bottom of the 1st post) so I imagine you can email him from that with questions about your order before paying.
