So i'm looking into getting one, but based on the number of chinese companies cloning each other, much like what happened with the eGo batteries, i'd like to get a little information regarding the original manufacturer of this design. That way, at least i can somewhat check if i'm getting a "legit" Vamo - if you know what i'm sayin...

Thanks for your feedback!:D

I could be entirely wrong, but from what I've heard, Vision designed the Vamo, but someone else made it. I've never heard an actual name. But then again I also haven't come across any knockoffs (not saying that there aren't any out there, i just havent come across any yet). If you have one that you're looking at in question, maybe you could post the link here and people could verify if it's a "legit" Vamo.

This IS the original manufacturer(Seller)

How can I be sure? I got mine in a First run coop before any US dealers had Stock.
Contrary to all the Cons on Vamo V2 going on - V1 was the clown face colored buttons and eventual Release of the Chrome with Chrome buttons. The Spring and Washer were Updated on the second release of V1 and many replacement Springs were shipped to update existing models.
V2 was the Release of the Stainless Steel Version. and (useless Black Chrome)

All others are The same piece from Different Companies or very nasty knockoffs. Some don't even have the same 2 (up/down)buttons on the face.:(
