The Ego CE4 was my first ever E-Cig kit! I purchased it from a local shop for £30 4TH January 2014.
It came in the usual Ego pouch along with two E-Cigs and USB charger.
The first e-liquid I purchased was a cherry flavor made by Liking that cost £5 for a 10ML bottle.
I've never come across that flavor since, it was quite a nice flavor if I remember rightly.

To those who also used this kit as their first starter kit. Do you remember the constant gurgling after a certain period of time?
Do you remember the poor lasting battery life without any warning lights or battery percentage? And the battery could run out at any point and you not having a back up E-Cig!

It's amazing how the E-Cig world has rapidly evolved! I've seen some dramatic changes in the past 13 months! And I'm excited to discover what will be around this time next year!

This thread was made to those who were in the same position as me at the start of my E-Cig journey.

Oh, I was all over the 36mg juice too in 2009 lol. Then dripping into a bridgeless 501 atomizer on my ego battery, and I yanked out the bridge on each one...then I could buy bridgeless ones. Got me down to 18mg and then 12mg where I stayed for a few years. Oh that HH357 was so the bomb back then, too. Then squonking got me and reos and I could drip from beneath the atty, oh snap. Then Kayfuns and rebuilding got me off the reo, down to 6mg. Started into RDAs and now at 2.5-3mg and loving it.

I tried cartos but never liked the flavor at all. I'm an atty guy. The crazy part to me is that squonking is all the rage now and I mostly got away from it. It's an "old" technology in our hobby relatively speaking (see my handle). That's saying something when the reo has been around so long and is still so relevant and solid. All other squonkers owe their debt to Rob and the reo IMO. If you have been vaping a long time and think back to ego tanks, cartos, disposable attys, egos, ego twists and all the other stuff that's come and mostly gone, the reo remains. That says a lot. And I don't even own a reo anymore, but I must say that that mod and whole idea has some remarkable staying power. Much respect to what is simple and works!

I do wish I could go back and get another HH357 and hit that thing and see what I think of it now. I wonder what I would think now?? Meh.

Ha! You think this scene has changed a lot in a year? Back in my day, we didn't even have standardized sizing. If you wanted to use an atomizer/battery combo from two different companies, you had to buy one of a plethora of different adapters. It's nice to see that the 510 has seem to become the industry standard though.

EDIT: *obligatory banging of my cane on the ground*
