Believe it or not - CE5's are still selling well. Sourced from China directly they're dirt cheap, fairly easy to rebuild because the innards are easily accessed, and thus are still a good start for newbies who wanna give it a try or vapers on a tight budget.

Looking back does demonstrate the technical improvements - and the first buds of something only too well known from the printer manufacturers:
Miniscule variations in coil heads to prevent interchangeability. More coils make it more difficult to rebuilt if it all. Bought their atty, need to buy their coil heads.
Hope it doesn't go the same way as printers ( or razors ). where one buys it for low low money first. And nearly goes into cardiac arrest when looking for replacement ink/toner cartridges. Still surprised that the snobs aren't drinking printer ink to show off their wealth. At 7k a liter, it easily beats champagne ;)

Let's hope the vape gear makers keep spending their efforts in product improvement instead of putting all their energy trying to think of ways to keep OEM's off their turf...

Sure, the rda-crowd isn't bothered by it, but there's lots of vapers out there who just wanna vape with no bother and no forum...

After all , most ex-/still smokers went about puffing their fags without ever logging into a forum or an online shop :)
