Yeah... But Brenda Isn't a Member of Congress.

But what she is is one of the Most Influential People in shaping Tobacco and e-Cigarette Policies in the USA. And that is why I started this Thread.

So what. I've been saying for decades that the tobacco companies are controlled by the anti-smokers, because they never fight back. This just proves me right, because those shares elect the directors who in turn choose the executives.

I guess it just comes down to do We want the People with the Power to Craft Policy and or Regulations about things like Tobacco Products or e-Cigarettes to be Financially Invested in the Companies who make Profits from Selling Tobacco Products or e-Cigarettes?

Well, hell yes. Speaking as smokers or vapers that is! In theory it would be good, but in practice they've done a lousy job!

Not sure why you wrote that, but former FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg's husband bought $342 Million of Lorillard stock when she was deciding whether or not to ban menthol cigarettes (after FDA's TPSAC recommended doing so). At the time, Lorillard owned and marketed Newport, the largest selling menthol cigarette in the US.
See page 16 in Larry Klayman's lawsuit below.

Unfortunately, Klayman's lawsuit was against J&J, and he lost it.

Pretty sure it was sarcasm, since I'm also pretty sure Zoidman knows that whole story....
