My experience with V4L wasn't my own, but I was there on the phone and online with someone else was placing her first e-cig order!!

When I started vaping and talking about e-cigs on Facebook, a few of my old High School friends became interested, since most of us have been smoking for close to 40 years... and as the numbers grew to over a dozen, I started up our own little private group where I could post more info for them and have some other conversations about it going.

I personally started with a Joye 510 kit, 1 auto and 1 manual batt, some juice and a box of cartos... but knowing what I do now, even though I still love my 510s, I might have done things differently.... especially with the poor charge life of the 510 batts.

Talking to a couple of my friends who really didn't want to be bothered with filling carts and wanted something that looked more like a 'real' cigarette, I thought that a KR808 might be the way to go, and they both ended up getting generic kits from another supplier who was having a sale at the time.

The next person was just a lady who knew a friend of mine's sister, and a total stranger to me, but I said I would try to help her find something, too. By then I knew a little more about V4L, and how happy all of your customers seemed to be with the products and service. So when she gave me a call one day and was ready to make her first purchase, I knew that you just happened to be having a great sale that week...

We talked on the phone for a while and got to know each other, and so I could get a better idea of what she was looking for, then we both got on your website and went shopping!! It was a blast!! She was very open to trying new things... got a starter kit with the case included, some pre-filled cartos in different flavors (a sample pack I think) extra juice and blanks, too. And she was very happy with the total amount of her purchase because of the discount, too.

I now have 3 friends with KR808 type e-cigs, even though only one got hers from you, but have sent the other 2 here to get replacement parts and supplies because I know they will be treated well and that you also have the best selection around!! Not to mention the fantastic deals you have fairly often!!

Thank you for helping one of those people make the switch to e-cigs possible, and for the other 2 to continue vaping in style... :vapor: Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to win one of your contests so I can experience it first hand!!

I never considered not smoking during my 40 years of it, until I lost my cousin Charlie last Feb 14 of lung cancer. He was two years older than me, and we were quite close as friends from childhood into middle age. The year before I lost my dad to smoking related heart problems, and when Charlie died, that was the first time I wanted to quit smoking. I went to my doctor for help, I wanted to quit so bad I started crying. He first put me on the nicotine gum, which was worthless, as was the lozenges and patch. I managed to cut back to two cigarettes a day on Chantix, but that only lasted 6 weeks and I was back to my 2 pack a day habit. I didn't realize how much of a death-grip this addiction had on me until trying to stop. I'd stare at the cigarette before lighting it thinking, "Do I really want to give money to the tobacco companies that killed so many of my family members?" Then light the damn thing up.

My other cousin was only 46 yrs old when she got lung caancer. My uncle was only 51. My aunt was 61. I'm 56, my cousin Charlie was 57 when he died. He had just retired and just got custody of his son. It was heart breaking. I imagined my doctor telling me, "Dave, we found a spot on your lung." But nothing could help me quit.

A little store next to my apartment started selling e-cigarettes, I think it was an S-801. I bought one and loved it. In fact I bought two of them. They only had one flavor, Marlboro, and only 18mg. So I cut back a lot on cigarettes but didn't stop. I learned on the internet that the carts could be refilled. Nov 4th I searched the net for e-juice and discovered Vapor4Life. I was amazed when my order came in just 3 days, a bottle of 24mg 555 and three bonus carts that didn't fit my S-801 e-cig. But the 24mg satisfied my urge to smoke. I bought another order of juice before finally jumping in and buying my Ultimate starter kit. I have no desire for smoking now, and it's so effortlessly with my V4L PV, the V4L family and this forum. I've not been this happy in a long time, in fact my new found freedom from smoking has turned into quite a passion to help others get off cigarettes and spread the word about V4L.

My deepest gratitude to V4L and it's employess

I am a single mom of two. I was dating someone back in 2009 who had lost his wife to breast cancer (not smoking related) and his kids were about the same ages as my two. Seeing his life with his children and hearing his stories about how this has affected their growing up without their mother, I knew I had to quit smoking once and for all for my children. I couldn't allow myself to be so selfish and had to start thinking about my children, they need me. I finally decided on 6/25/09 (the day Michael Jackson died) after other failed attempts to quit, that this was it, this was my day, and what better motivation, than my babies....and I did it!! The day I quit, my kids and I walked to the store to buy the patch. As we were walking back home, my daughter said "Mommy, look at us" I said "What?" She said, "It's the first time we've ever walked beside one another!" I had tears in my eyes and couldn't stop smiling because she was right! For 10 years I had NEVER walked next to my children due to my smoking!

On 8/23/09 a devastating call came that my boss of 18 years died of a massive heart attack. I lost my friend, my boss....my job! The first thing I did was go out and buy a pack of cigarettes thinking this will just help me get through this "rough" time. I was devastated. I promised myself the kids will never know, because I'll quit again before they find out.

Days, weeks, months went by, and I was back to full-blown smoking again. Eventually the kids found out, they drew sad face drawings with cigarettes "X"’d out through them. My 8 year old son wrote me a note that said "You promised you would quit and you lied to us!". I was heartbroken. Still cigarettes controlled my life. I loved it way too much to think about anybody or anything else.

A few months ago, I saw a friend of mine using an e-cig, I was intrigued. He gave me some information on it and recommended Vapor4Life because of their product and outstanding customer service. After finding the V4L forums, reading about the testimonials and seeing the banners of others who have quit smoking, I was ready for my starter kit. I received that on Thanksgiving Day...and decided that when I got my kit I was going to quit smoking.

I have not had a single cigarette since the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving Day!!! In fact I still have some from the night before, that I have absolutely zero desire to reach for. I never thought I could do this, but I did and with such ease, it's mind-boggling! My kids are SO happy they get to spend more time with me as I don't spend all my time outside smoking. I can walk next to my children again without telling them to stay away from me.

Vapor4Life, you have not only changed my life, you have changed the future lives of my children and for that I will forever be grateful!!

Once upon a time I asked someone to marry me, they said “no” because I wasted all my money on cigarettes and I smelled like an ashtray. So off to the bars I went to have fun and waste money on smoking, gambling, and drinking, staying up late, not cleaning the house, playing around, and having fun spending all of my money.
Eventually I realized I had to quit smoking but didn’t know how. Came across V4L and decided to try them out; took me no time to stop puffing on cigarettes. The hardest part was deciding which flavor to vape.
I ran into the same person I asked to marry me, told me they missed me, how great I look and of course how great I smelled, then asked me if I’d like to get married, I said ‘no’.
Now I’m off to the bar to gamble and drink and have fun vaping all my neat V4L flavors, with all the money I saved by not smoking cigarettes or getting married. The end.
