In the UK all incoming packages are handed to customs on the way in if you check again a bit latter it should say it has been released to the postal service, I inmagine it works similar in the US
I'm all for sharing information, but is there any reason we're burning our own bridges by discussing the hows and ways to "beat" Customs and the FDA in a public forum?
Just curious. It's not like anyone from those government agencies would be reading this forum or anything...
That's basically the just of it. Order from China and save a few bucks or order from any US supplier and take less risk on domestic shipments vs overseas packages. As several others have mentioned, many people have had no problem with dealing with Chinese suppliers - just do your research on who has a good rep and who doesn't.
Onion other hand, if you're looking to get into the biz, this may not be the best time to test the waters with your cashed in 401K...
NP! I have this vision of a gov employee writing reports based on top sekrit information they "glean" from this forum.
Maybe we should all randomly start threads about a new supply chain coming from Nova Scotia, Dublin and Lisbon and how great their prices are? Let's see just how far we can stretch their resoources!
