With a bit of twirling and flipping, you can vape an entire Triton tank, right up to where the tips of the wicks are dry.

Sure, it's fine to pour the juice back in the bottle.

Yeah, it's a bit ridiculous, this whole vaping thing.
I've already got a cart full of stuff at (an alternative eJuice supplier), as well as another big order from Halo ready to go. All those tasty Juice choices... and I gotta get me some Iridescence and More Big Tanks! (got way too many minitanks)

You're doing something wrong, when you get to that point.

I've been vaping for about three month with my Halo gear:
-2 * 900 mAh batts
-6 Triton tanks
-15 spare coils (two have died so far)
-a mini tank
-a nano tank (from SI)
-a T3 tank (from SI)
-two chargers (+1 that didn't care for the wash cycle)
-5 blank cartos
-the small cone
-a drip tip
-spare silica wicks (2 mm)
-spare ekowool wicks (2 mm)
-2 * drip tip adapters for Triton (still in vapemail)
Total: less than $150.

I've also got a couple of 1'300 mAh on the workbench, for which I bought replacements cells (very hard to find!), thanks to a fellow vaper here, that unfortunately introduced them to an untimely death. Because that's what I do (replacement cells will be heavy duty 1'000 mAh)

That's the nice thing about Halo; you might not have a lot of choices for tanks (without an adapter), but it stopped me from spending +$200 on gear that wouldn't necessarily work better than the Triton. Protank, Protank mini, Protank 2, Protank 2 mini, Davide, iClear 16, iClear 30, T3S, MT3, MT3S, Aurora BFT, Mini Nova ... most of which use different replacement coils.

So, here's my thoughts after 3-4 full days of vaping.

Got my order Thursday 10/10/13 @3:30pm (after awakening at 3pm - don't ask) right after enjoying my mandatory two "morning" Analogs. Went to the mailbox - saw my 2 boxes from Halo... Smiled... & ripped em open.
Loaded up my tanks... eagerly waited 45 minutes for them to wick up, spinning & flipping the tanks during this time to ensure readiness.

I Feasted on all the flavors I had on hand with reckless abandon (TRYING not to over-vape... knowing the Nic wouldn't kick in for 15 minutes or so)... and the first two sessions ended up with the light-headed feeling from a bit too much Nic.
No problem. Shorter sessions after that.

Vaped (without smoking) til 2am, when I said "Hey - let's see what a cig tastes like!" ... Lit one & put it out after 4 or 5 puffs. -NASTY-Lungs frying/wheezing-throat hatin it by comparison with .
Vaped off & on til 7:30am -had a full cigarette... same nastiness, but honestly enjoyed that familiar feeling surrounded by a cloud of stinky smoke, etc.
Continued vaping til around 10pm -when I finally crashed out. (day 1)

(Day 2):
Enjoyed vaping all day. No cigs. Drank a bunch of beers without bringing my analogs along -on purpose- just to see how it went. Total success -thanks Mainly to Torque56. I chain-smoke when drinking beer. And was able to, instead, chain-vape with my Tritons, but also used my G6 Manual Quite a Bit.
THAT LITTLE BUGGER IS A TROOPER!
MANY hours of heavy usage with 18mg Torque56 prefilled carts.
I usually power-vape the Torque56 in 24mg out of the Tritons, but knew I'd o.d. on Nic... thusly the 18mg prefilled carts for "normal" chain-smoking feel. Worked like a charm.

Had one wheezy cigarette upon returning home (with beer-breath), but that's it!

Sunday & Today, no cigs at all... because quite honestly -vaping has Ruined cigs for me.
No comparison.
My lungs feel wonderful! I haven't coughed AT ALL since beginning with the . And my throat feels GREAT too.
Not to mention the fact that I don't stink of smoke.
And the Flavors continue to Blow My Mind.

Got myself another Vapemail comin from Halo (with my free 30ml 18mg Kringle's Curse to mix with the 30ml I already have of the Belgian Cocoa... 50/50 mix on those is Absolutely-The-Greatest-Thing-In-The-UNIVERSE... Customer Service has been Fantastic, and their Products are Flawless so far. (didn't care for the Automatic G6, but I'm gonna send it back & swap it for something I DO want.)

I liked midnight apple too, when I first tried it. I never tried it again, because I thought it had a touch of a perfume like taste, and I don't care for that. Maybe I should give it another shot.

No need to wait on Zombie; it's good straight up. I really hope you got White Rabbit... If you got Cherry *anything* then yeah, it'll have to wait.

It was that bitter-sour chemical taste of whatever it is that composes a flavor, rather than the flavor itself. I then let it sit in my Halo tank for a few days, and after periodically trying it in small doses (10-15 puffs a night), the perfume chemical tang completely disappeared. I was ridiculously happy, because this is a flavor I really wanted to like. I can't tell you whether it's because it's been steeping in the tank, or maybe it's because I'm a brand new vaper and my taste buds are just now getting used to the whole concept.

My suggestion? If you have some left in a tank/bottle, let it steep a bit and then give it another shot. It's an awesome flavor now, I'm happy I didn't give up on it.

I got a Midnight Apple sample bottle and did not like it at all. I filled a G6 carto I previously cleaned and thought that the terrible flavor was due to it being in an old carto. I was shocked to find the same flavor when I put it into a fresh carto.

I feel for ya man. That happened to me after a few weeks of starting vaping. Fortunately, it lasted only 3 days. Frenching Kringle's Curse vapor through my nose got me through that tough time.

Man, it SUCKS!
Not sure if it's EVER gonna work properly, since it seems to happen after my insanely long bike rides.
I've read all the stuff (before I started) about staying hydrated, and I've been POUNDING water.
But doing the amount of riding that I do -there's gonna be some extra need for hydration-... I dunno what else to do (other than surgically implant an eternally flowing fire hose down my throat)... I seriously feel that I may drown at any moment.
The taste seems to come back (mostly - not 100%) but by THAT time I'm gearin up for another ride!
One step forward - two steps back.
If it keeps up like this - Vaping is going to become one of the Hugest mistakes I've ever made financially.
What a drag.

& yeah, I can barely even vape my Kringle's candy cane bliss, cause Half-Tasting THAT makes me want to shoot someone in the face!
(sorry - I was just SOOOOOOO PSYCHED the first week - & ever since it's been soooooooooooooo LAME... MeGa-DiSaPPoiNTMeNT.)

Is the whole "retrohaling" thing part of the problem? I hesitate to even DO that anymore since I assume it's exacerbating the situation (I assume this because my sense of Taste AND Smell are both around 75-80%).
I've done all the repeated smelling of coffee grounds, drinking of coffee, buying special tongue-scraper, using Biotine, eating spicy foods - EVEN RINSING/GARGLING/SWALLOWING freakin PICKLE JUICE - to no avail.
I've been "flavor-whoring" from the beginning, so my taste buds didn't get overdosed on one particular flavor.
I even picked up one of those Vick's Inhalers (& if I retrohale after hittin the Vick's I can kinda smell it. Not so much if I don't.)
& I'm NOT gonna be snorflin on some damned menthol inhaler all the time to PARTIALLY taste my vapes.
Whatever.
I wanna strangle somebody right now.
First time it happened - I was like "O.K. - no big deal. It'll go away, just 'drink lotsa water' & all that. It'll go away."
It's been 13 days of off & on taste buds.
Mostly off.

Just hang in there and keep your eyes on the prize. One trick I've heard of is to intentionally use unflavored liquid for a day or two just to give your senses a rest. I know I'm suggesting buying something else, but in terms of quitting smoking, it's still a small price to pay. I understand that you can get straight VG from walmart. Even to use it for an hour and then go back to something with flavor (and nicotine) should at least help a little. Don't forget how nasty tar and smoke are.

I don't think anyone has really come up with a viable, instant make-my-vaper's-tongue-problem-go-away. It just kind of happens when it feels like it and goes away when it's tired of messing with you. Some proclaim the magical cure, but it was merely the last thing they tried before vaper's tongue called it quits on its own. Most of us have been there and I wish I had a fix for you.

From our lovely and talented very own Angie Vapor Queens same issue in 8/13. Great explanation:

You're vaping moist flavored AIR. It is a delicate flavor. Not like when you actually bite into something. You may have never noticed that you lost a bit of being able tasting something, when you quit previous times, because the food you eat is a tangible thing. When I got vapers tongue, it surprised me because, like you, I had read everything and was making sure I did all the stuff to avoid getting it.

It is a normal process in the healing. You just never noticed it before because your other quits did not involve trying to get flavor from AIR. It will last 1 - 2 weeks and after that, as long as you keep up the routine of good oral hygiene, you shouldn't get it again. I've been vaping 11 months and I got vapers tongue in the beginning sometime. Can't remember exactly how long into vaping it started. I do remember how long it lasted. 2 weeks for me. But since I knew what it was, it didn't freak me out.

Haven't gotten vapers tongue again since.

This too shall pass.

- Get some Fusion from Halo and use it when your buds get overloaded and or thrashed. It's PG/VG and NIC. No flavors and gives your buds a rest BUT u still get the NIC fix.

BTW, I'm not a Dr. or Nurse. Just OLD! lol BTW, their is also "Vapers Throat" which is a term I just invented! LOL Feels kinda like a semi light soar throat and I use many of the above techniques to combat it and I'm willing to bet money that lots of folks have my newly minted "Vapers Throat" True?

I'm getting close again (decided to try ONLY puffin on my -Space Jam Robo Fuel "Starship 1"- today since it's Clearly VG-Heavy... plus the texture of the custard/kiwi mix is Really Amazing - even without full use of my taste buds)

I know this is the "Halo" forum, so before anyone reprimands me for praising a competitor's juice: just know it's being vaped through my Halo Triton 400mAh which I love... a lot.
Besides, I've got four different 30ml Halo bottles, and eight 7ml's in happy rotation.

But, Not for Nothin? -S.J.R.F.'s "Starship 1" & "Andromeda" are Stupendously Great. Got a couple of their others, and they were pretty wonderful right outta the mailbox, but the above-mentioned I would HIGHLY recommend to Anyone. Those cats got the fresh fruit thing down nicely {never would've guessed I was a kiwi fan til "Starship 1"... can't tell you how many years it's been since I ever THOUGHT about ingesting kiwi, but WOW! Soooooooooooooo good!
(A.i.V.'s "Fifteen Foot Falls", "Zombie Apocalypse", & "Black & White Cookie" are absolutely Mind-Blowing bakery Juices that I could not possibly imagine ANYONE IN THE UNIVERSE not falling in love with instantly... wish I'd ordered extra flavor on the Zombie though - Subtly Delicious still, so NO complaints -just an observation-.)

EVERYTHING you mentioned above -I Have Been Doing.-
Since I'd heard about this phenomenon b-4 starting:
- I have been drowning myself in H2O (Always drank tons - now I drink tons X infinity)
- For Realz, dude.
- Have been using the recommended Biotine since day 1 (bought it ahead of time - Never needed it before)
- I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO moderate with my Vaping. As difficult as that is. I don't do it inside, so have made it a point to try and carry on in a way similar to when I smoked cigarettes regularly:
Go Outside & Puff roughly every 45 minutes or so for a few minutes. But much Quicker time period than previous 6+ minutes for a 100-length cigarette. DEFINITELY not over-vaping - as much as I'd like to.
TRYING to establish a good baseline/general understanding of this without fung myself up in the process.
- I almost NEVER take more than 3 successive puffs of one Juice at a time (I'm the dude with 3 lanyards around his neck & the VEA case in his pocket "FLAVOR-....." will probably be the next tattoo I get on my forehead.
- I'm using the Lowest Nic Juices I've got (which is 18mg - but remember: being sure not to over-vape either)
- I got 7ml's of Fusion in my initial order, but it's 36mg so I'll probably never use it. (got it cause I thought I might need to spice up some of my 18's initially, but I was wrong - FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING!)
