Not me! I didn't start smoking E Cigarettes as a way to quit. I smoked
cigarettes because I like to smoke. Many people refer to vaping as a way to stop smoking. I Vape as a replacement with I HOPE a healthier out look. I VApe because I'm tired of the smell, dropping ashes all over, and numerous other bad traits with analogs. Not forgetting the thousands of bad things in analogs. Yes, there is questions, regarding the sanity and
safety concerns of e cigs. I'm not known for being sane anyway, ask my wife of 30 years. It makes sense, less chemicals, less bad things can happen. I plan on vaping for the rest of my days!! Unless government forces me back to analogs. Who else feels the same?

I ordered my e cig on the 6/6, i thought id quit till it came, 2 weeks ... i failed miserably.
had 3 today, 11/6 :(

You did not fail miserably! It is just a work in progress. I have been vaping for 2 months now and I still have an analog now and then. There is no right or wrong way to transition. Just hang in there and I ber you will amaze yourself!

Good to hear - I'm gonna keep my nicotine addicition until I achieve my goal of becoming a pharmacist.
I'm quitting nicotine, but I have no plans to quit vaping.

I have had a couple of analogs, I haven't been vaping that long-- still it doesn't feel like I'm a smoker anymore. I definitely prefer vaping.

I had no plans of quitting but lo and behold......analogs taste like ****.. I don't feel like I quit. I just found a much tastier brand. I also agree with nothing wrong with an analog here and there...........don't pressure yourself. The vaping will take over. Always think how many cigs did I NOT have today. If the answer is 1 that's a win in my book. I smoked 3 times what my wife did and had no problems with the transition. No desire for the old kind at all. She is still struggling.

These just taste better so I stick with them exclusively

Definitely a great way to look at it. Everyone vapes for different reasons. As long as you can benefit from it!!!

That's funny that you say that. My husband smoked about a half a pack a day to my 2+ packs a day and he is having the problems adjusting. He is doing better than he was but not as well as he could be doing. I wonder why that is?

I'm quitting analogs for good. As for nicotine... I don't know yet. :) Currently taking this 1 day at a time.. well probably more like 1 hour at a time :p maybe one day I'll transition away from the nicotine and maybe even quit vaping eventually.

I do however have a plan if the FDA shuts us down.. I'm going to find a supplier that doesn't mind "breaking the law" for a cash sale to unload some of their stock, and I'll stock up and keep vaping as long as the parts hold out:evil: lol. .. at least that's my plan. I won't go back to analogs though, I made a promise, I have to stick to it

happily...I couldn't have said it better myself. I have known it's been time to quit smoking for some time now (many years, actually). It's been hard over the years to continue the cessation (I like to smoke when I drink alcohol and coffee, like to smoke when I take a break from working, like to smoke when me and husband sit out back and talk about our days, etc. etc.) The very thought of quitting made me think of the future without having all of those relaxing moments (I know it sounds stupid but it's like having a cup of tea or taking a relaxing bath to me...just something I enjoy). I found the e-cig and never thought it would work 100% but decided to buy one so that I continue to smoke. I, also, don't feel as though I've quit. Last, but not least, I never plan to quit vaping, though I may eventually get off of nicotine. If there's ever a ban, I'll make an e-cig and mix up batches of nic-free juice.

42109...I think that relaxation comes from the nicotine in the analogs, I just think we absorb it differently and at different level. I always think of that first analog after not having one for a while, the way you can feel the numbness in your arms, then the rest of your body...almost like I'd imagine a crack addict feels (LOL).

I had an analog last night and really could not take the taste of it. I used chantix to quit but my insurance company only would cover three months worth so after the third month I had picked up the habit again. Since getting into vaping about a month ago I would say I have smoked maybe 40 to 50 analogs. It wasn't until this week I really had no desire for the real thing. I believe you just need to take time and not out pressure on yourself to just stop until you are really ready. What has really helped me want to kick the analogs to the curb is I have begun working out as well. Its really nice when I can do a mile on the treadmill and not be huffing air the whole time.

I have not put any restrictions on smoking analogs but really just haven't wanted one. The smell is not very appetizing to me. While me and my husband are sitting outside and he's smoking, I briefly thinking about taking a puff, then I think of how bad I know it will taste and continue to puff away on my e-cig. It's honestly been a Godsend for me.

I tried everything to quit smoking analogs. (25 years 2 pk a day smoker)
Anybody want my Nicorette gum, lozenges, Chantix, Wellbutrin or SmokeAway (or something) vitamins?
It's like a whole shelf full of crap! Couple of books too.

Anyway, I got really really sick twice last year - bronchitis, pneumonitis (sp) etc.
Ordered a e-cig kit as soon as I found out they were available. (wish I had known earlier) The urge to smoke real cigs comes up now and then but the smell of an ashtray almost makes me gag. Plus I have given enough of my money to big tobacco companies and simply refuse to give them any more.

I don't really feel like the times when I did manage to quit - I feel like I switched brands or something. Saved my life.:D
