I bought my Stainless Steel Vamo V2 in November 2012 from Exhale Vapors for $46.38. I have replaced the O ring once and have used an Air Controller ever since to protect the threads as well as the O ring. Still works great, used every day, but I have a Version 5 in Stainless coming as an Xmas gift from my wife (just in case).

Edit, Sorry guys, got my dates confused. Had mine since November 2012, not OCT.

I have what I believe to be a V1, it's super polished with black rubber buttons. I bought it from what I know as 2nd batch ever sent from HealthCabin. It just pulled up my account and I purchased it on November 2 2012, received on November 7 2012. IIRC no one even knew it was called a vamo at that point, it was just listed as "eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV (only Body)" and folks around here were calling it an EGO VW.

This is the first I ever saw it mentioned

It turned out to be better than everyone could ever hope for! I have used it EVERY SINGLE DAY since then and it's sitting directly next to me being used right now. The two bottom battery tubes are pretty rough, scratched and showing a pretty strong brass color (from my wedding ring???). It has never given me one single problem. Best $40 I've ever spent.

That is TOTALLY freakin' cool! You should hang on to that. It might be a collector's item one day! I've never seen anything like it or seen anyone mention one. But I'd guess that IS the V1 as you say.

I'm shocked Vamos are so new to the market. I had no idea. They're barely a year old! It bodes well yours has held up so well and you've used it every day... I am ordering a second V3 today (I'm a swirls fan so don't want the V5). And over time plan to collect many more! It's amazing you can get 4 Vamos for the the price of 1 Provari. And the Provari isn't even VW.

Got my V1 on 12-9-12 from the classifieds here on ECF. Zero problems but it's not my daily driver. The chrome is worn off below the fire button. Best $35 I ever spent on vaping! Don't ya just LOVE the color? LOL!
