firephly-
I just got some 'Red White and Blue' from Ahlusion. Thought of you when I tasted it. It's coconut with strawberry and blueberry and it's amazing. THe coconut is creamy and sweet and the berries are sweet and tart and super-real tasting. It's not too sweet, not too strong, but not bland either. I haven't tried any of their other coconut flavors yet, but I'll bet if they all use the same coconut base they'll be great, too.

Sounds good! I sent Ahlusion a message to ask about getting extra flavor and which PG/VG ratio, and telling them about how I can't really taste what they sent me, but I haven't heard back yet.
Honestly I wouldn't mind a super strong coconut

I've been revisiting the Ocean flavor and I am getting more from it now, still mild, but nice. Ocean is a good name for it.

Well I think I have put off coil building because I'm afraid I'll get frustrated and discouraged, but I guess I better go ahead and do it!

Castle Long Reserve from Five Pawns is expensive and supposed to be amazing. I currently have the Gentlemen's Reserve from thesteamco.com that is a knock-off of the CLR from 5P. I will be purchasing the real thing when it's available, but I really like the GR from steamco. The coconut is on the initial inhale. Smooth, subtle, very good.

Thanks for the review Firephly! I'm not much into subtle flavors either unfortunately. Sounds like their customer service is fab though, so the lighter flavor folks might do well to give them a shot. Then again, if you got yours in a high VG, maybe not. Hm.

it's 70VG 30PG. since then i've been liking it more actually. but i bet it'd shine more in a dripper.

But if you like Ahlusion (and I can't taste it) then this might be great for you.
Ahlusion still hasn't addressed my questions, I'm kind of disappointed in their customer service right now.

Vaporworld Malibu is a favorite of mine. As is eVo carmel coconut. That stuff tastes just like girl scout cookies. My local brick and mortar has eVo juice and asks waay too much for it but I like supporting them so I'll bite

Ooo Samoas? Hmmmnom nom nom

I'd like to know if firephly has revisited her Ahlusion since January and it she's now tasting it? :)

the ahlusion 90%VG option never did develop enough flavor. However i got some in the 50/50 VG/PG option and low and behold it does have flavor now.

The shipwreck (a coconut tobacco) is wonderful when you ask for extra flavor and extra coconut! coconut heaven!

I recently received free state vapor's shipwreck (a straight up coconut) and it is very good also.

Still love nirvana vapor's coconut burfi

still loving the nilsson from free state, although the lime is more in front than that coconut, the co kona nut doesn't have much coconut but is a good flavor if you like coffee vapes

the coconut from Orb vapor was a nice one

Flavorz by Joe-coquito, this had no flavor

The Steam Co. - Blue Lagoon -no flavor here either

Five Pawns Castle Long Reserve- i got the non reserve one and mainly tasted booze, great throat hit though, i sold it but wish i'd have kept it longer to see if it changed

steam co-Gentleman's Reserve , love it and also their beaumont reserve

Berry Shangri-La Tea from Ahlusion-have this in 50/50 and still allowing it to age, it's promising though

coval vapor-ocean, it did increase in flavor after a while, still a mildish vape though, very well made though

was gifted a sample of White Rabbit from AiV, very nice flavor-to me it's a creamy sort of mild caramel with toasted coconut notes, nice but like most AIV it's pretty mild

Vapor Chef's Hobbes Blood-it's nice, not super coconutty but very good

good life vapor's Tahitian pearl is very nice and has some coconut

another winner is sir tasty vape's cubana joy, i asked for strong flavor and extra coconut and have reordered since i loved it so much

still haven't tried the others mentioned in this thread yet!

Is the coconut flavor similar to that of pina colada? I ask because I like coconut, have been told that pina colada has that as a flavoring.

If so, and it's good, true coconut flavor, I wouldn't mind taking one shot at it to see. I've noticed that with some vendors, one doesn't get what's paid for, have Mt Baker Vapor's Coffee blend, tastes more like perfume than coffee & not only has the lid been removed twice for 6 hours, but it's also had 2 weeks to steep. The only difference I can tell is that it's darker, but not dark enough to mask the aftertaste of a $5 bottle of perfume, nor to bring out whatever extra shot of coffee that was paid for.

In other words, if a coconut flavor has a perfume/cologne taste, don't bother recommending. Anyone, other than one who is desperate for any vape & doesn't give a dam about the flavor can distinguish this taste & would notice it. Quality e-juice manufacturers doesn't resort to this practice.

yes pina colada is a drink made of rum, coconut, and pineapple
I haven't tried a pina colada vape though since that isn't a flavor combination i really want so much since i'm not a fan of the drink

Cat - Ahlusion has a wonderful Pina Colada. Their Mango Colada is amazing as well, if you like Mango's. I've got Blueberry and Strawberry Colada's steeping right now (I find most of their juices benefit from a 2 week steep).

Coffee - if you love coffee vapes, again, Ahlusion scores well there too. I've had Kent's Blend, Light French Roast and Mocha. Their Tiramisu morphs into a coffee vape with long steeping as well. Currently Light French Roast is an Ahlusion fan favorite. But all of their coffee's are good (with the exception of Spiced Pumpkin Latte - far too much spice going on with that one).

Edit - just saw your signature - I grew up in NC. Folks are in G'boro, and brother is in Ashboro. Graduated from UNC-CH!

503s Cool Runnings is a very nice coconut heavy mentholated pina colada vape. The methol is not overly strong. Has a nice cooling effect that suits this particular flavor nicely. Most others ive tried are light on the coconut and heavy on the pinapple.
