I was thinking about nautilus by forehand so I may change to it. I don't want to spend too much at once, I don't have a lot of money as for the time being.

nautilus is expensive. eleaf GS AIR M (10 bucks) holds 4 ml and there's no tinkering involved--unless you want to rebuild the coil heads.

I have a lot of coil heads for the evod, is there anyone compatible with that? I'm not planning on buying a full set now, but maybe a tank first and battery later. So compatible with the evod battery would be a huge plus.

Anything with an eGo/510 connection is compatible with your eVod battery--you may just want to add a beauty ring to cover the threads and support your 510-threaded tanks. That's all.

I recently upgraded from an mvp2 to a defender 36 watt with a Arctic tank at 0.5 ohm . This thing really rocks. Cost me 55 quid for the pair. Still on my first coil after 2 weeks and 2 days and still no sign of needing replacement. I run mine at 35 watts and it's an excellent vape. Would highly recommend this setup. Came with a 90 day warranty too. Best of luck on your decision.

No, anything with a 510 connection will fit on the device but, but only tanks with coils in the resistance range of your device with be comparable

I was referring to thread compatibility, but, yes, sub-ohm and TC coils will not fire on an eVod battery.

Start out with a regulated box mod like an MVP 3 or a lower end sigelie, there's a ton of good box mods for under 75 bucks. For a tank I'd suggest a kanger subtank or another hybrid tank system cause you can still buy prebuilt coils while you learn to build your own. Don't get an unregulated device until you have plenty of coil building experience and fully understand the laws of electricity. It was ignorant for someone to suggest an unregulated device as your first mod. Take your time and research for what'd be best for you and for the best price. Good luck!

I went from evod/pen style to a 20w istick/nautilus combo. Great for me! I would suggest the 30w for OP,the 20w had just come out when I switched to it. Now I have a 50w istick (sent to me by mistake, I ordered the 30w) and a Lemo 2, which I'm in love with.
Yeah the Lemo 2 is a fantastic tank if you want to go right into building coils. I've got 3 of them now and they're pretty much all I've been using since I've gotten them.

Thank you for great tips! This has become a bit of a hobby, and if I had the money I would buy everything. But as it is now, I can afford DYI ($7 per100ml and use 2-3ml in one day) and maybe a small upgrade once in a while.

So i won't buy anything more expensive than maybe $15 at the time. And that's enough to get a better tank. I'll look into it and check out my options and your suggestions. In the future I might begin with mods and other "toys".

I'm pretty sure you can use the nautilus on an evod battery... it has a 510 connection, but you can always use a beauty ring to make it flow more smoothly. Google is your friend mini nautilus on evod battery - Google Search

The coil heads are not the same as the evod tank, so you won't be able to use those. Get the nautilus or mini nautilus with the Bottom Vertical Coils. The airflow is much better, the flavor and vapor much better. You might go through more juice with it, but it's definitely an upgrade.

You can use the Nautilus on an evod battery....If you are wanting to use the same coil heads as the evod tank, but get better performance I recommend getting a Kanger Emow...I have several of them and love the fact that they have the airflow control, and I do get great taste out of them (and you can get 2-3 of them for the same price as one Nautilus). The Emow tanks are supposed to take the Kanger dual coils, but I've used the single coil as well. And when you have the $$ to upgrade batteries, I recommend an iStick 30...I love mine!

If u decide on a nautilus get the mini. It tastes much better. I personally like more airflow then the nautilus gives, but it's still a good tank.

The subbox mini device and tank combo is 70$ pretty much everywhere. Personally I think that's your best bet. The device goes up to 50 watts. You can use the 1.5 ohm coils at around 15-20 watts and learn how to rebuild with the deck it comes with if you wanted. Also comes with a .5 ohm coil for 25+ watts if you want to try subohm.

Hope this helps!

I like that tank and it looks nice. Some on another forum said it was one of the worst he has ever used thogh.. So i don't know, is it good?

I don't want an emow, I'd like to have a tank with glass all the way around, not a window.

$70 is far away from what I'm willing to spend at time being.

Protank 2's use the same coils as the Evods...if you get an airflow controller to go with it, they work just as good.

EVOD battery is not VV, so you may be disappointed with results using a higher level delivery device like the mini Nautilus. But I would try that or the GS Air first before ordering a battery.

EVOD coil heads are single coils....only clearos they will be compatible with is:
Kanger Protank
Kanger Protank II
Kanger Protank Mini's
Kanger Unitank
Kanger Evod clearomizer
Kanger ProTank & Evod Coil Replacement - 5 Pack 2.5 ohms

low resistance will work fine with your non VV Evods, but to be honest, there is really no point...I mean, your EVOD clearomizers that use the same coil that you are using now are going to give you pretty much the "same" vape (since using the same coils).

Other suggestions for a new kit besides the istick would be a Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech Ego One, Kangertech Sub-box kit---but I just read that you don't want to spend that much so....just buy a new delivery device and go from there. :)

About using the same coils...it's not a big issue really. I can go with buying new coils.

I just want something new, other than the evod tank. They are getting old as well. But I'd like a better tank, which also has better designs too. Getting pretty bored of my evod. If I had more money to use, I'd throw my kit away and buy something better at the spot, but tha's not the case. In the future sometime, maybe :)

So buying a new tank now would be great, and then maybe move on to an istick or other kinds of battery. I just can't move to fast forward because I won't allow myself to fund that yet.

The worst? I'm really surprised. Most people who get one either love it or at least like it... If you want to talk to other GS Air users, join the conversation here:
