Holy pope on a rope, it looks like a Smeg refridgerator..or a high tech house brick.

Can you chaps suggest a good single 21700 mod? No TC, just tasty regulated volts. No flashy features, made of metal, sturdy battery door, doesnt even need to have a screen.
The Geekvape Aegis Max might be an option.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pico 21700
EHPro Cold Steel 100

All Metal
Screw caps.

Vaporesso Armour Pro is all metal. But good luck finding it. Not sure I would say that battery door is solid but I compare all flip doors to Innokin Kroma-r and that's one solid door. No 21700, though.

These 3 are the ones I have that are all metal. All 3 have preheat (soft/normal/hard) and hit hard.

I have 2 or 3 mods that use 20700/21700 cells. For around the house they are nice, but not really comfortable for pocket carry. Maybe during the winter when wearing a jacket, but I can go all day and into the night on a couple of 18650s.

If you don't mind a little bulk a dual 18650 mod is a good carry device with +/- 6000mah capacity.

A 21700 has 1.5 times the volume of an 18650. A 20700 has 1.3 times the volume of an 18650.

I have lots of 18650's and a few 2x700 cells for specific devices. I still like 18650 for the size and carry ease. I'll start out with a mod with a fresh 18650 and carry a spare and a small bottle of juice if I'm going to be away from home all day. It's always enough to make it through the day.

The only downside i've found so far in 21700s is the actual diameter of the different cells. The tolerance on mods designed for 21700 batteries can be pretty tight and i've come across a couple of device/battery combinations that wont work. Some manufacturers take the '21' bit of the designation as more of a guideline rather than an actual measurement :( Some cells can be up to 21.2mm

Yeh, i bought a couple of the SLs- maybe that was colouring my thoughts. Now i think of it some of the issues i've had have been with '21700' flashlights... Now i'm going to have to try every mod and battery configuration just to prove to myself i wasn't imagining it....;) . . Surprisingly one of the reasons that i'm happy with 18650 batteries is that i get a full days vaping with one. 21700 gives me a day and a half or a day and three quarters..The problem ? I like to externally recharge my batteries once a day. Having a battery last one and a half days throws my recharging schedule out !!
