So I was happily vaping away outside on the porch earlier on today... When I noticed I slightly flooded my Cisco LR 510 atty. So I took my atty off the eGo batt I was using and blew it out and proceeded to try threading the atty back onto the battery when...

I, somehow, lost my grip on the atty and watched helplessly as my Cisco and my Super-T Stainless Drip Tip fell directly down one of the cracks, disappearing under the ground level deck. After having a sh!% fit, I thought 'There HAS to be a way to get this thing back' but I spent a good 2 hours using everything from magnets, flashlights and anything else I can get my hands on to see, retrieve or even regain some hope of getting my atty and (expensive a$$ed) drip tip from under the deck to no avail.

Why bother posting this??? Well, I am still steaming over it and needed to vent, but also just wanted to express to all of you out there that; Yes, a Stainless Steel Drip Tip is nice... But I would much rather have lost a $13 atty and $1 plastic POS DT (equaling $15 total) than a $13 atty and $25 Super T DT (equaling $38 and 2 grief filled hours of my time)...

Anything can happen, so worry about the vape quality, stock up on extra atties and get the best prices you can on the accessories that can be lost at the drop of an atty. :glare:

Sorry to hear of your loss, those Super-T Drip tips are ferociously expensive to lose.

Wing.

TY and 110% agreed.

Take the deck board off and replace it if necessary. It'd be cheaper than replacing the atty and drip tip.

Exactly what I was thinking, but it's raining here tonight, so I opted to take the night to cool off and let the wood of the deck shrink back to a normal size after the rain caused it to swell.
