That actually happened to me last month, except it was just a plastic drip tip. Our deck actually has a door, so we have access to the undeneath, for storage. Hubby got under there with a flashlight, and found mine, even though it was black. I wasn't about to do it, in case I was attacked by spiders! Your solution...put in a door, for storage, and lost driptips!

So, there is no retrieving the lost Drip Tip, sadly. This porch is ground level and the house I am staying at has no basement or means to get under to find it. The problem is that the deck is a few years old and all the screws are too recessed in the wood to get at with a screwdriver. It's not my porch and not my home, so I can't simply take a Skil Saw to it nor do I have my tools to do so.

SO... I guess I had better count my losses, grumble a bit more under my breath and accept the fact that my favorite drip tip is now gone. I have always been accident prone and knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but at least I got a good year and a half's use out of it (Always look on the bright side of life). I most likely won't be replacing the DT since I am not made of money and a Super T DT is most definitely not on my "need" list.

Noiz...sorry for your loss.

I shelled out for one of those whistle T-Tips from Jack too, back when...and I almost lost it once too. So I can imagine how you feel. Since it's gone, and you're on a budget but wanting a great drip tip...have you looked at the Mings from CherryVape? The coloured swirly ones are $8, made of acrylic...and the stainless steel one is $18. They arrive in beautiful packaging too...Cheryl really put some love into the presentation. And check this out: free shipping! It doesn't get better than that. Better price than the T-Tips, nicer drip tips (if I do say so) direct from the people who designed & make 'em...and free shipping.

I have both kinds of Ming, and they're a real pleasure to vape with...especially the stainless steel one. Plus, they're quite a bit wider than the T-Tip you lost to the deck...so you should be a bit safer with these. Here's the link, and a pic:

That pic's a bit small, hmm...here, you can see my stainless steel Ming in this pic:

One warning re the acrylic ones: make sure you grasp them by the base when you're removing them...as we've heard a few people ended up with broken ones when they didn't. Of course, the stainless steel one doesn't have that issue...it will last you forever.

Anyway...sorry again, and I hope things start going your way soon. Happy vaping dear.

Come on guys!! Noiz is going through a rough patch in his life right now, AND he lost his beloved s/s Drip Tip and now your conjuring up ideas of other uses for "one of those" :cry:types of medical devices!!

Rather than put him through that, I volunteer to buy him a new D/T. It's the least I could do to save him from using "one of those" devices!!!
