Why am I getting a burnt taste so often with my brand new Joye510 Mega? It also seems to run pretty hot, and wasn't sure if this was normal. It's brand new.

Assuming you have a regular joye 510 atty and cartridge, you have to keep the coil wet - which means as soon as you detect a drop in flavor, you should refill your cartridge. It might help to put a few drops - no more than three - on the atomizer 'bridge' - that's the metal mesh nubbin you see when you look into the atty chamber.

Great, thanks. I have been refilling the cartridge but it still gets that burnt taste. I put a few drops on the atomizer bridge and that seemed to have helped so far. Thanks

If you are "chain vaping" you are not giving the wick time to absorb the juice between draws and will cause a burnt taste. try allowing a bit more time between drags and see if that helps.
