Can't post attachments any more

For some reason I can't post attachments anymore. When I try and insert an image with my post I get a little red warning exclamation point saying that the attachment exceeds my quota. I am trying to attach a small image, say 59 KB . But I have tried to post smaller sized images and gotten the same message. The message I will get for instance will say "Exceeds your quota by 19.5 KB". I can shrink the image but will still get the same message, that it exceeds my limit. I haven't been able to attach any images to my posts for the last cpl of weeks. I am using the insert image from your computer feature.

So how do I clear the previous attachments from my account ? Is there are way to do that?
I did figure a way to post images through the FAQS. By placing the

of the image link.

Forgot to answer your question , I have 227 attachments posted using 3 MB. So I have obviously maxed out my space.
I didn't know I had a limit.

If you need to remove some attachments from your account, you can check the box to the right of the attachment and then select delete at the bottom of the list.

OR....

Become a supporting member and get a rather large increase in the amount of images you can store.

I just saw the delete feature. so I will go through and delete them.

Before deleting them, you may want to leave them there so they don't disappear out of posts. Then use a site like imgur.com to store more pictures that you can link to.

imgur. com is great, btw... you can be anonymous, or create your own account, and even keep it private, while posted images remain shown.

I was able to free up some of the space on my account but I have a lot of posts with images that don't offer the "Delete" selection.
All of these remaining posts which I don't know how to delete have a 'N/A" next to them.
I searched through all of the FAQ that I could find to see if I could find a solution but didn't see anything to help me free up more
space.

If the images are in a locked thread, you'll need the assistance of an administrator to get them removed.

I guess the attachments I need to delete must be locked and that is why I cannot delete them. They all have «N/A» next to them, instead
of the 'Delete" field.
I looked at trying to delete them under my profile as you directed and I also looked at them in the thread where I posted them but
there is no delete option available within the thread where I posted them.

So how would I get help in deleting those posts? They are in past contest threads.

send your request by pm to oldsoldier - be aware though he will not delete individual picture but you can give him a date and ask for everything to be deleted up to that date.
i took the opportunity and had him delete everything
