Why are supplier threads closed?

Hi. I'm just trying to figure out how things work around here. I've been reading reviews and trying to find out more about Highbrow Vapor, so I came here to see if they are a supplier and it turns out they are. I found this supplier thread, but it's been closed. Why would it be closed and since it has, how does this supplier use this forum to do business?

Color me confused.
