Why are there no 1500+ mAh 18350 size batteries?

You may want to consider it is the device that is the problem.
Epic Storm is a Re-branding, Either a Lavatube Mini or the Young June Mini

I cannot relate experience to the Lavatube But the Young June is a power house. It also is a Power sucker. Mine will drain a battery in a day if left on and NOT in use.

What ohm coils are you running?
What Voltage are you set to?
How Heavy do you vape?
All this is part of the formula for Battery performance time.

2.0 ohms dual
4.5 - 5.0 volts
pretty heavy at the time I was a bit snookered by the end of the night.

I just thought that having 3 fully charged batteries would last me longer than that. Even if I was drunk chain vaping....

Just to give you an Idea those same batteries would have given you about 5-7 hrs. in a Vamo at those settings or up to 15hrs. in a mechanical mod.
For the performance you were looking at you need a full sized APV with a single 2250-2600mah battery.

Do you have experience with those? I looked at those when I purchased this one...

battery charge/discharge are nearly linearly affected by 2 attributes a) their capacity and b) the charge constant attributed to the chemistry of said battery.
The basic li-ion icr type batteries are 2C which means that if you had a 600mAh battery its maximum recommended discharge current is 0.6*2 = 1.2 amps. Given the regular li-ion voltage of 3.7 the max you could vape that is 3.7*1.2=4.5W, not very exciting.
Fortunately there are other chemistries like LiMN (C = 10) and LiFePo4 (C = 35) that you can use with small capacity batteries.
This is rarely an issue with bigger batteries though since even a 2000 mAh battery with C of 2 can provide 4 amps which is 14.8W and while their voltage drop under load is higher than IMR type batteries they still provide enough punch for a good vape.

Aanyways.. I've been under the impression that most regular vapers go through up to 1.2Ah per day and even by calculating the volume of 18650 vs 18350 (however off specification they might be) there still should be enough room in a standard 18350 to fit that charge. I'm thinking that most people with 18650 in their mod only resort to that size because a 18350 is a teensy bit too small, adding a few hundred mAh would make it just right.

Yes. I speak from running my own Vamo in 18350 mode.
Will be testing one of my eVics in 18350 this week, as soon as the new tube arrives.
I also have several CCTS mechanical mods I like running in 18350 form. Batteries last several hours each.
